Blood in the Water: Temptations Not Common To Man

armorThe bible warns that the conditions at the end of the age will “wax worse and worse” men deceiving and being deceived.(2 Timothy 3:13) and many children of God will be deceived, possibly destroyed, because of a lack of discernment, becoming unconscious vessels for the enemy to use in the DAY of his power. (Matthew 24:10). Therefore, it is mandated that every true believer must be prepared to stand alone in order to emerge as an overcomer. To be prepared means that you have been trained in peace time but most often, while you are actually in the battle.

Unfortunately, we are not prepared for what is happening among this generation’s religious people.  Whether in church or absent from Her, Satan is pulling out all  his last stops including spirit rape, voices, intrusive blasphemous thoughts and horrifying visions to let religious folk know, that he is in control of them.  And he is.

How did the devil obtain this kind of power when the bible reports that the Lord Jesus Christ has defeated him? Simply put, the  spiritually undernourished have been eating fast spiritual foods leading to the expectation that quick religious  fixes and fantasies will  pull them  through to victory. What is neither understood or considered is that we who will overcome must try the spirits NOW. We must not believe every spirit.  The spirit that is not of God is Anti-Christ.  So if you are hearing blasphemous thoughts about the Lord Jesus, or if entities or spirits are having sex with you to satisfy their need for spiritual worship, if you are having evil visions that cause shame and guilt , you have been taken over by Satan as  the Accuser of the brethren and the  spirit of the Anti-Christ.

In order to overcome the spirit of the Antichrist who is now quite active in our present world, everything and everyone must be tested, including yourself.  How is this test implemented? First of all, , check to see if you have been  consistently eating junk food. Also, examine where you stand relative to the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth: sin, the cross, the death, burial, resurrection and the return  of the Lord.   Do you understand repentance? Did you experience godly sorrow as led by the Holy Spirit and not by the needs of your own flesh for grief, self-accusation, and self-induced shame?   Did the Holy Spirit call you to the cross or did you just ask Jesus to come into your heart because you were afraid of going to hell? Are you expecting a pre-tribulation rapture and therefore you are not preparing for His coming? Do you believe you are born again yet you still have not been able to control sinful behavior? Do you believe that church attendance and loyalty will save you?

The answers to these questions will reveal whether or not you have been eating fast foods, and relying on quick fixes, fantasizing that you are blessed when in fact, you may be cursed.

Let us face it!.  WE ARE IN A WAR.  A SPIRITUAL WAR! if you are in agreement with theantichrist spirit of the world and the spirit of the Antichrist, you are a weak vessel, not a soldier, one  who is actually food for Satan.  He smells your blood in the water and you are the prey of the mighty. He will tempt you with illusions in the spirit that are not common to man and he does not play fair.  However, those of us called to Calvary have been given weapons for warfare that we are to use and become proficient in their use by experience, developing our faith by trial and sometimes by error.

A part of that warfare is to recognize the spies and overcome them BEFORE the Lord returns. We are in a conflict with the Antichrist and his army NOW.  Consider perhaps the very near future as outlined in Revelation 17. In this chapter, Christ is carrying out terrible things on His enemies who “war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, and they also shall overcome who are with Him, called and chosen, and faithful.”

I want to be in this number.  You should want it also.

We shall judge and rule with Christ, at least those of us who overcome.  Those who have died in Christ already have escaped the  kind of uncommon supernatural trials and  tests Satan will throw our way in these Laodicean, deceitfully lukewarm times of fast food religion and quick fix deliverances.  I suspect that the dead in Christ have their crowns already.  However, what if we are alive when He comes?   It seems that it is OUR crowns that are up for grabs. Will you allow YOUR crown  to  be stolen because you enjoyed too much fast food in the spirit  and you depended solely on quick fixes, incapable of standing against the wiles of the devil.

Setting Captives Free: The Strongholds by Pam Sheppard

One of the steps or stages  in the deliverance process is uncovering and tearing down strongholds which include blockages and personality defects.

“A  blockage or a stumblingblock is an interconnection of a person(s), a place or surrounding, an event, a personality defect or a thing that demons continue to employ to cause the captive to fall. Often there is something in the captive’s personality or character that draws him either by attraction or seduction to perform an act that proves to be detrimental, by acting as a doorway for particular demons.Usually the stronghold is upheld by a particular sin, serving as a stimulator to the weight that continues to beset the captive.

A stronghold may consist of one demon or a constellation of demons. The bigger the stronghold, the more unproductive the client’s spiritual life will be.Upon searching for strongholds, we prepare  the captive to face them squarely by recognizing factors and issues that may lie in either his subconscious or even the unconscious mind. In this regard, dream interpretation is an important tool in uncovering subliminal strongholds, the deliverance coaches I  train seek the Lord in prayer, asking Him to uncover that which is hidden so that the captive can receive a powerful insight that might be earth shattering. For example, consider a captive who was raised in the church. She strongly believes that she is saved because of her church affiliation and the fact that she speaks in tongues. The captive in this example never suspected that her inability to contend with demons is because she never got born again while attending church. However, the Lord has revealed to the coach  that He has allowed the demons to torment her because her eternal salvation was in the balance. In other words, the torment drove the captive to us to seek  help, so that the Lord could open up the captive’s eyes so that she could perceive her true spiritual condition.

Some captives are very invested in maintaining the power of their stronghold, even though they would like to be relieved from torment. Consider a person who is out on the ledge of a highrise apartment house, trying to get into the window of her apartment which is several feet to the left of her. In order to reach her destination, she must avoid looking down or to the right to avoid getting dizzy or distracted and end up falling to her death. Similarly, a person bound by a stronghold may try to avoid any deviation from his usual patterns for fear that he may fall. The course that the captive has developed over time consists of unconscious defense mechanisms, designed on a subliminal level to keep the captive on his path, even though the captive would agree that the path he has chosen is destructive.

As an example, a female captive who is dependent upon an abusive partner will be hindered from making any independent moves of her own. As such, those in the bondage to a stronghold most likely lack spontaneity of feeling, thought and/ or willpower, making his soul weak and unstable. Each stronghold will create a specific fear or doubt as well as an accompanying behavior of his self concept and pride system. Captives who are in bondage to their own self-created stronghold will often attribute the strength of the stronghold to evil spirits , when in fact, casting out the demons will not bring any relief. In a case of this kind, the stronghold is embedded in the captive’s personality defect. The evil spirits  take advantage of the personality defect. So through deliverance coaching and/or counseling, it is imperative to deal with the personality defect prior to casting out demons, for they will eventually return.

My approach is to first  successfully deal with the defect, and to not   be surprised if the demon walks away on its own.”

The first stage of  basic Christian mentoring/coaching  is geared toward helping you make your own decisions about how much truth you are willing to receive to obtain freedom. The more you resist truth, the longer you will journey on the broad way, that leads to destruction.

THE OBJECTIVES OF SPIRITUAL COACHING

We have found that most Christians who need deliverance coaching have been  blinded by spiritual ignorance.  Our goal is to help you obtain clear spiritual vision as we coach and train you to distinguish between good and evil. 

The goal of basic Christian COACHING  is to help you to be engaged, encouraged and enlightened  in your mind. As such, our objective at is to strengthen your spirit so that you will be able to recognize God’s will and choose it above your own.

However, the goal of deliverance coaching   is to arm you to recognize and effectively deal with  the activity of the enemy in your life.  Deliverance coaching  is broken down into 4 components:

A SEARCH FOR COSMIC EVIL DOORWAYS: These are areas  in a person’s life which are giving or have given cosmic entities the right to enter or remain in the person. Asking Jesus to “come into your heart, a counterfeit birth, a background in the occult, unconfessed sins, ungodly soul ties, unforgiveness, holding cursed possessions (occult rings, etc.) and so forth can give demons a right to inhabit and torment a person. These legal grounds can be  removed by facing the truth,  repentance, renunciation, extending forgiveness, etc.

THE EXAMINATION OF STRONGHOLDS: These are basically incorrect thinking patterns in your mind. For example, if  you think God is angry with you because you have committed the unpardonable sin, then you will feel like He is. This stronghold may open you to panic attacks, paranoia  or obsessive compulsive behavior. Strongholds are torn down in each  session  as we  work together to reprogram your mind to think differently. You might say that our approach to a stronghold is to enhance critical thinking capabilities and simple commonsense. Together you and the coach work to  destroy the strength of the debilitating thought.

RESTORATION OF YOUR SOUL: Renewal is often required when counseling a person who has been abused, raped or has been exposed to a traumatic experience. Becoming whole  is a work of the Holy Spirit and is received as the person is   delivered from  the inner hurt and pain from past experiences. Then   the Holy Spirit  comes in and heal those wounds. Forgiveness often plays a part in this releasing process. Oftentimes, self-forgiveness needs to be received as the captive may be   holding things against him or herself which must be released. Once truth is known and accepted, frrdom is obtained.

EXPULSION OF THE ENEMY Confronting  cosmic entities directly  is where either devils or demons are  driven out of the client by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and the power of the Holy Ghost. After success in the first three stages,  expulsion is often un-necessary. However, in various cases, direct confrontation of the powers of darkness cannot be avoided.  At this stage, you  MUST sign and notarize an informed consent form called the DDF, the Deliverance Disclaimer Form. There are no exceptions.
