FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TEST

The SEW Training Program is about fruitbearing in Christ.

An examination of  whether or not the fruits of the Holy Spirit are being manifested in your life is one of the primary ways to examine whether or not you are truly saved or if you have been deceived into a false conversion.  When you consider a decorative bowlof fruit as a centerpeice on a dining room table, sometimes a plastic apple or orange looks so good from a distance, very often even better than the real thing.  You don’t find out that it is fake until you pick it up.  It is dead andd light weight, without the genuine smells and other qualities of a juicy peice of real fruit.  So too with spiritual fruit. So to examine and test whether or not you are really born again, we need to focus on the Lord’s own words. He said simply “you shall know them by their fruit.As recorded by Matthew in the 13th chapter, Jesus defined how we become born again.

  •  We hear the word.
  •  We understand it.
  •  We receive it into the good ground of our soul and our spirit.
  • We  receive the fruit of the Holy Ghost and
  • We become “fruitful.”

Therefore we need to know what fruit IS so that we can objectively  test whether our fruit is of the Holy Spirit or if it is fake fruit.

Here is where most professing Christians go wrong. We read Galatians 5 and we say to ourselves “Oh, I’m a loving person so I have the fruit of love. I don’t gossip or backbite and I am usually understanding and kind. I am also patient and peaceful, much more since “I accepted Jesus” then before, so I know I am saved. I don’t commit sins of the flesh so I am born again. This is error. People of other religions often do not  fornicate or indulge in the obvious sins of the flesh. Yet, like everyone else without Christ, they are lost sinners, separated from a holy and righteous God/n fact, ALL have sinned by their very nature, whether they actually DO the sinful act or not. As Jesus said, if a married man even looks lustfully at a woman without having sex, he is still an adulterer in the eyes of the Almighty.

What we need to understand is that the fruits of the Holy Spirit are not natural, human qualities. Since the seeds of these fruits are imparted to us at the exact moment of conversion, they are supernatural and they are divine.

 Here is a personal example.

When I got saved, I hated white people. I was a racist. There were two little white boys that chased my 8-year-old daughter from the school bus to her door every day. These kids called her “nigger” every day. It was a Monday, March 29th, 1977 at 4pm. I had just gotten born again about 10 minutes before, so I was not standing at the bus stop waiting to protect my daughter as was my custom.  I heard my daughter banging on the door and there were the same two boys right behind her.  I scooped them both up in a hug, smeared my kisses on their cheeks and invited them in to have some milk and cookies. That ended the problem of those 2 little boys trying to hurt my child.  Then there was the time that the woman who stole my first husband from me was pregnant. She was the worst enemy I have ever had in my life, but in  my heart was complete forgiveness and love for her and her unborn child, a supernatural love that was beyond my human nature to even approximate. I went to her baring gifts for the unborn and sincerely asked her how I could help. Everyone who knew the former, unsaved Pam thought that I had lost my mind.  I did not. The love of God, the first fruit of the Spirit was shed abroad by the Holy Ghost into my spirit, empowering me to manifest the fruit of divine love for an enemy.

What you may be counting as fruit for Jesus Christ may simply be a work or ability of your own soul. Human beings have the power to change our attitudes, behaviors and even our personalities without God being involved in the change. We can stop using drugs by the power of our wills. We can pull ourselves up by our own boot straps.  I know for a fact, because this is what I had done BEFORE I was saved. I turned a streetwoman into an educated, prospering lady. When the Holy Ghost got a hold of me, He said “Pam, you took yourself out of the streets and ghetto life, but the streets and ghetto life are still IN you. You changed yourself from the outside in. I will change you from the inside out. Only I can turn you into a sinless, justified, sanctified virtuous woman. What you did was without ME. Not good enough. For without Jesus Christ, you can do nothing.”

My Life of Counterfeit Worship by Minister Kellie LeClerc

While an active  member of  a charismatic,  non denominational  church for several years, I was so in love with the worship of the church  that I never thought in a million years that what I was doing was leading me further and further into the deception of the fake jesus and his dominion of demons. I would go early on  Sunday. As soon as I hit the parking lot, my body was like a tuning fork. I was, ‘in the spirit” or what I thought was the Holy Spirit at the time. What I came to find out was, it wasn’t the Holy Spirit but the latent power that had been within me being woken up by the very demons that sought to destroy me. These were the same demons that held me hostage to my depression and lust.

I would get these certain emotionally charged feeling.  As described in a passage of  The New Idolatry” by Pam Sheppard  mystics want to know God intimately through their physicality. In other words they want to touch, see and feel God NOW. Why can’t we feel God? See Him?  Go deeper and deeper with Him into intimacy?”  “What I didn’t perceive is that we need to know Him by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God.”

 You see,  I loved to dance and this was something that I would do in the aisle  of the church every week. Arms flailing and in “my element” or so I thought, I was encouraged by the same people who were sure that I was so spiritual! It was at this time, I was in the pinnacle of my addictions, lusts and depression. I was still having issues on and off with bulimia, and I had just left one  of my adulterous affairs which took place with an elder of the church. I knew deep down we would not be together even though at the time it was what I wanted more than anything. It was at this point I was suffering from lustful thoughts. I wanted to be immoral and felt driven to do so.  It would take years to get over what the devil had drawn me into with the surrender of my will.

 How do I know that it was not a Godly relationship? Because we had been immoral.   How do I know it was witchcraft now? All that  he had to say were 2 words to me, and I went from not caring to not being able to live without him.  It’s purpose was to destroy me….but God…..I had come to hide things so well and the mask was fairly secured on my face and would stay there for many years to come. I believed, I was “suffering for Christ.” It was going to change and God was going to use me mightily someday, wasn’t He?  The fact was…no, not the way I ever thought He would. It was never Gods plan for me but He couldn’t get me to see that until after He was able to start the process of  un-deceiving me. Once completely out of the four walls of religion, the truth came in like the dawn. God brings people in your life to bring truth and this is how God is using me .  This is what’s real, what won’t burn up when the Lord comes back.

What’s Up with Negative People Posing as Christians? Part 1 by Minister Francine

Negative church people posing as Christians, is an ever abiding reality. The wheat and the tare grow together so we know for a fact, negative people operate in and out of church. Negative people posing as Christians are not in the minority either. These type of people, spend their  waking hours complaining about everything and everybody. If they can’t bring at least one person down a day, they can’t sleep. The word of God teaches us that the mouth of the wicked is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: and that vanity and mischief are under their tongues (Psalm 10:7).

Negative people delight in pretending to help, this is deceit. A chronic complainer has no intention of helping anyone. Negative people will jump on church boards to complain, fuss, and disagree on every point. In this, they are frauds. Negative people dislike seeing projects move forward.
Negative people posing as Christians, are energy drainers and will leave you tired and confused. Why would you be confused? Negative people, like Sister Nancy Negative, from No Hope Christian Assembly, are often very religious. They’ll throw a barrage of scriptures at you, break out in tongues, and fall slain in the spirit, before you can bat an eye. When next you see them, their trying to discourage you from moving forward in a God-given project.
Negative people posing as Christians operate like this: you tell them that sister so and so’s outfit is fabulous, they tell you her shoes don’t match. You tell them your writing a book, they tell you how difficult that will be. Negative people will always give you a ” Downer Debbie ” response. You tell them your want to start a business, they tell you not to, because the economy is bad. Your on fire for God, but negative Christians work to put the fire out. When they see you getting too enthusiastic, or making strides they come along with a bucket of water to dampen you.
If you’ve been  reading articles on Pam Sheppard Publishing, you know about the religious demon. You know that unknown tongues, and being slain in the spirit, is a sign that religious demons are in operation. Pam has written a ground breaking book on the topic. Well known Christian authors, Derek Prince and Rick Joyner have also referred to religious demons in their published works. But Pam’s book digs the deepest, and exposes the intricate working of such demons.

Negativity in a person claiming to be a Christian is also a sign. It’s a sign, that the devil sent someone  to drain your energy, and wear you down. Think about this, I never knew this, until Pam pointed it out to me. Negative people have no love or respect for you, if they did they would encourage you in the Lord.
Rather than encourage, negative people are on a mission to discredit, and disrespect every dream and vision you strive for. They do this by constantly throwing out negative retorts. You tell them your moving across town to a better neighborhood, they say they heard someone was robbed in the area. Someone who always has something negative to say, neither loves, appreciates or respects you.

AN EASY GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING THE VOICE OF THE FAKE JESUS?

I have spent 3 decades learning how to discern good from evil where it comes to supernatural experiences like “hearing voices.”

The bottom line is that “it ain’t easy.”  Some would take a scripture out of its original context and retort, “Well the Lord said, my sheep hear my voice and the voice of a stranger, they will not follow.”  However, if we look back at who Jesus was talking to and why, we will come to understand that Jesus was talking to the children of Israel, the religious people of THAT day, who lived at the time of the Lord’s earthly ministry in His physical body.  The Jews had all of the signs from the prophets.  The Lord was saying to THEM, those who really belong to the Father will recognize that I am their long-awaited Messiah.  Then the Lord makes a brief reference to us in John 10:16.  We are the “other sheep of a different fold.”  In regards to US, He says that when He calls us to Himself to be saved, we will know Him as well.  Why?  Because we were called by God before the worlds were even framed.

The Apostle John actually tells us in verse 6 that the Lord used these words as a parable and that the people who heard him did not understand what the Lord was talking about in that day.  Nothing has changed today either.  We use the scripture but we have no idea what the Lord was talking about.  We have taken this verse to be a spiritual discernment verse when actually, it is not.  In fact, the fake Jesus in our time has an extremely convincing voice that untold millions, perhaps billions  have followed into a false conversion which I call a counterfeit birth.

This is how it is done.  Some have heard a voice say things to them like, “Come to me.  You will find joy, peace and happiness.”  Nothing about repentance, the sin, the cross or the Lord’s bodily resurrection is mentioned and so they “follow that voice,” claim themselves to be saved but they bear no fruit.  In some cases, false converts are instantly healed of an addiction or a physical infirmity and they assume that their healing could only be the Lord, so they continue to follow the voice of the fake Jesus. These kinds of false conversions are the most dangerous because its victims do not have a clue that they are not born again.  Then there are those who asked Jesus to come into their hearts.  Since the Son of God is seated at the right hand of His Father, He cannot come into our hearts.  In fact, the heart is a part of the soul.  God is a spirit.  The Holy Ghost is Spirit.  He comes into the spirits of a truly born again convert—not into the heart.

So when such an invitation is made either through a sinner’s prayer either at the altar call, the invitation of Christian discipleship, and the sinner says “Jesus, come into my heart.  I accept You,”  the one who accepts the invitation is the fake Jesus. And in that way, some of God’s people have followed “the voice of a stranger.”

I would be as ignorant of this phenomenal deception of the enemy as every other minister, if it were not for the fact that I have been doing telephone counseling with people from around the globe since December 2002.  Since then, I have been in touch with hundreds of people.  Of all of them, I only know of one  was saved when she contacted me.  She is now  one of my ministers, Kellie LeClerc.  Everyone else was a false conversion. When I look back to my first case, I remember  a young woman who I will call “Linda.”  Linda  had several demons.  She is the first to travel to my state for deliverance and her counseling was conducted entirely by email. When I spoke to her demons, there was no manifestation.  However, when she went back to her hotel room, the demons manifested.  I thought she was delivered.  Perhaps.  However, today I am convinced that she was one who was never saved in the first place, even though she was a tither and a tongue talker.  I would not be surprised if she STILL is not saved.  You see, I knew nothing of the fake Jesus at that time, and because Linda spoke in tongues, I assumed she was saved.  You know them by their fruit.  There was no love for the brethren in her.  It was quite simple, but since I myself was deceived at the time, my spiritual discernment was not nearly as sharp as it is today.

How to Discern the Spirits Sent by the Devil By Minister Francine

Do you see the women above casting out Satan? I’d say that was Pamela Sheppard, a woman of God who has been discerning spirits and casting out demons for over 30 years. Discern the spirits or serve the devil is a warning to me and you. I’m back on the topic yet again. If you remember, I told you that a demon that looked like our Lord, gave me a demonic message. I thought that message was from Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but it was not. I was told to enter a religious cult. Once a member of this cult, I was lost in it for 10 years. There is more to the story, let’s just say I met and was serving the Fake Jesus, whom Pam Sheppard has taught us about in her book of the same title.

I did not discern the spirits concerning this religious demon charlatan. I was duped, fooled, hook line and sinker into the kingdom of darkness. I was running from an abusive situation. I was 16, bought up under the demonic strongholds of Catholicism, and on the run. I ran right into the clawed hand of the devil. We have to discern the spirits. What is there to fear? If we don’t discern the spirits we shall serve devils.
I was un-saved and did not, and could not discern the spirits that surrounded me . As a result, I spent 10 years of my life serving a spawn of Satan. My dear friends, the religious demon I was under was molesting children, both boys and girls, today he is incarcerated. Sentenced to 100 years. This is the kind of bondage you can expect if you refuse to discern the spirits. Please! Examine yourself, examine your own spirit, discern all spirits to see if they are of God. I was not saved then, as I shared. If you are un-saved, you shall never be able to discern spirits. Why be afraid? Fear— is from devils. Don’t be afraid to examine your salvation.

Pam Sheppard has coined  the phrase ” Counterfeit Births “.  Counterfeit Birth’s are the reason why the church is overun with such vile abominations, seedy dealings, and dirty behaviors. Case in point: child sexual abuse by so called leaders left unchecked and unchallenged.
 Need I say more? Such are UNSAVED…UNWASHED…AND UNREPENTANT.  All those in organized churches are mostly unsaved. Their conversion to Christ was fraudulent, phoney, false, fake and as Pam Sheppard more aptly describes, they had a ” COUNTERFEIT BIRTH “. It never happened!
I LISTENED ENRAPTURED AND AMAZED, TO PAM’S FOUR PART AUDIO MESSAGE….
If ever there was a voice crying in the wilderness, in this day a time, Pam Sheppard is that voice.
Here are the pristine truths I gleaned from Pam Sheppards audio teachings on ” Counterfeit Births “:
The counterfeit birth occurs when someone who believes they have come to Christ, yet it did not happen. These would be those whom Jesus will say, ” I never knew you” .

An example of a ” Counterfeit Birth ” is found in Acts 19:13. The Sons of Sceva tried to cast out demons. The demons overtook them, because Jesus had never been made Lord of their lives. Demons respect the name of Jesus only when it comes from the mouth of a true believer. A true believer has made Jesus, Lord of their lives. A counterfeit birth will open the door to religious demons who then hold these unsaved individuals captive and bound.
 A religious demon will show outward manisfestations of religiousity. Yet, in truth, have no understanding of Godly sorrow, repentance, salvation, the power of the cross, or the resurrection. They have absolutely no understanding of 1 Corinthians 15 or Romans 12.
According to PAM SHEPPARD:
“A COUNTERFEIT BIRTH IS ACTUALLY THE WORK OF A RELIGIOUS DEMON. ANYTIME SOMEONE SINCERELY INVITES JESUS INTO THEIR HEARTS, THE GATEKEEPER OF THE PYSCHIC GATE….OR…DOORWAY CALLEd ISHA opens the door..TO A RELIGIOUS DEMON “.
What did I learn from Pam Sheppard’s four part teaching on counterfeit births? I learned all things I never ever knew, that would preserve my soul and yours. Here’s why I say this: After listening to these bondage breaking revelations. I realized that the whoops, hollers, boisterous singing, frantic dancing, and non-interpeted tongue talkings of the religious, meant nothing.
 The religious unsaved, church member has a soul, that can not, and will never be renewed. The process of renewal never begins for those with a counterfeit birth. They are fleshy, they are carnal, because that is all they know how to do. They never received the Holy Spirit, because they were never saved.

I Knew Nothing and had no idea what had gone work with the church until I heard the counterfeit births teachings..

Prior to hearing these audio teachings, I had no understanding of counterfeit births. I knew there were people in church who had born no fruit, even though they had been in church for twenty years. I knew there were people in church who were unsaved, since I was once in the Word of Faith church and unsaved. But I had no idea that counterfeit births, have to be at epidemic proportions in the Word of Faith church. Why? Because the word of God is choked by prosperity teachings.
I used to be bound, for the members have no roots in the word of God. Whatever word they received was misunderstood. Just as I did not understand the word as a member of Word of Faith Church. I heard the word, but the devil stepped in and I was being taught to seek riches from God. The word in me was choked. I was saved when I denounced the Word of Faith church and not before.
Pam Sheppard Received and Revealed Important Revelation…
This is an important revelation that was given to Pam Sheppard, THAT WAS NOT ON THE LESSONS. THE AUDIO IS ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD. However in our interview, Pam Sheppard indicated the following:
” I DID NOT KNOW in 2006 when the message was first taught THAT ONE MUST DENOUNCE THE CHURCH EVEN THE COUNTERFEIT BIRTH ITSELF—BEFORE THE HOLY GHOST WILL SAVE THEM. THE DEMONS HAVE RIGHTS BECAUSE AS A RESULT OF THE DECEPTION THEY WERE INVITED IN. THEY HAVE TO BE COMMANDED OUT BY THE PERSONS OWN FREE WILL.
I’m so grateful to God for his steadfast and unwavering servant, Pam Sheppard, who stood alone bearing the seeds of…. and unvailing the full message of the counterfeit birth teachings and so much more…. Pam has written six books. All bondage breaking messages sorely needed by the remnant church. She left the church she  knew and loved for 12 years to bring these endtime messages….I have come to the full knowledge of why the Lord told me to come out from among those in church, to a place he would show.
 I have arrived at that place. Pam Sheppards counterfeit birth teachings, left no stone unturned. I now understand!
All the pieces are fitting together, great gaps in my knowledge are being filled. The lost are ALL in the church. They were never saved. Everything I heard from the Lord was true. Yes! I had heard correctly. I was to come out from among them. All of them! Every church is filled with members who have not truly received Christ. The organized church is a massive delivery room of counterfeit births.
I wasn’t totally sure but now I am. Pam Sheppard’s counterfeit birth teachings, proved, fact beyond doubt, that the organized church is a holding place of demons and a house of dirty birds.
In the words of Pam Sheppard:
EVERY CHURCH SYSTEM, BAR NONE, IS TEACHING THE SINNER’S PRAYER, THE I ACCEPT JESUS DOCTRINE, THE COME INTO MY HEART JESUS MESSAGE. THAT IS THE REASON WHY THEY ARE ALL INCLUDED. I WAS A GOOD PASTOR. EVEN THOUGH I WAS NOT SAVED BY A SINNERS PRAYER. THE PEOPLE IN MY CONGREGATION WERE. I DIDN’T KNOW WHY. I HEARD FROM THE LORD WHAT HE SAID WAS ENOUGH FOR ME TO CLOSE THE CHURCH THAT I MYSELF FOUNDED  AND PATORED FOR 12 YEARS.
My dear readers, I have learned so much from Pam’s messages. I now understand counterfeit births. I have come to a final conclusion. Here it is: One should tread very carefully, in regards to entering church buildings. After listening to the counterfeit births teachings, I can now say, without hesitation, I don’t advice church attendance. Whereas before, I was wavering on that point.
Before hearing this message, I did not know why or how a counterfeit birth came to be. I did not understand that a religious demon could enter in, during an unscriptual accept Jesus altar call. I knew that tarrying for the Holy Ghost was a suspicious activity, but had no idea of the dangers involved.
According to Pam Sheppard:
TARRYING FOR THE HOLY GHOST BRINGS DEMONS THAT TORMENT. EVEN MENTAL ILLNESS.
What do I say to you today, in light of all I’ve learned from Pam thus far?
I say take heed…take note…beware…and be advised…come out from among them in the church. The religious spirit and other demons are as near as the altars of any church. Before I studied the four part counterfeit birth teachings, I thought that spirits were largely ” out there ” somewhere. Yes, they are out there in the world AND in full force, in the pews and alters of churches.
 If you are in the market for demons, and don’t mind being possessed by one, remain in the organized church. But if you want Jesus to know who you are, come out from among them, undo the false teachings you’ve received, and start listening to Pam’s teachings which are ALL backed up by scripture.
A Testimony…
I’ll share a TESTIMONY here of just how slick the devil can be  when he steps into to snatch a truth that was sown……..
A few months  ( and in one case weeks)  before I heard Pam Sheppards counterfeit birth series of teachings, the devil sent a Word of Faith minister to me, and a Seventh Day Adventist minister, both were trying to convince me that they had truth and why.  I opened my ears to them, and I should NOT have done so. Now I know exactly why these religious spirits had come to call.
 The devil was trying to snatch the truths I was about to recieve from the counterfeit birth teachings. I had not completely understood, that the message from God, to come out from among them, meant to have absolutely NO contact or fellowship with any member of the organized church.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I renounce and rebuke every message they tried to bring, and I renounce and nullify any words I spoke that were contrary to the truth of the Gospel. I reject their prophecies of any greatness or good position in their churches, and close the door, and my ears, to every single voice, and demonic spirit calling  out to me from the organized church. Let every plant that my father has not planted be rooted out in the name of Jesus. I loose myself from every bond of satan, in Jesus name.
A Final Word to you in regards to Pam Sheppard and the counterfeit births message…
In the beginning of this article I spoke of Pam being a voice crying in the wilderness. This is total truth..for the organized church is a wilderness and Pam’s messages are the voice, crying out to it, from afar. So then she is NOT in that wilderness but has been sent to give these familiar words….repent, make thy way straight…prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth..

WHAT TO DO ABOUT FALSE CONVERSIONS Part 2

As I point out inPart 1, ” Where a false conversion is concerned, the first place to start is with YOU! You need to go back to day ONE, the place, time and circumstance of the day you believe you got converted. Begin by asking yourself these questions:

WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY CRUCIFIED MY LORD? DID IT CAUSE YOU TO TREMBLE?
  1. Did I understand the cross?
  2. Did I understand the bodily resurrection of the Lord?
  3. Did I experience godly sorrow that led to repentance?.

In this post, I am focusing on number 3, godly sorrow and repentance.

What actually IS godly sorrow?  I think the true meaning is in its name.  It is NOT human sorrow or self-pity. It is of God, toward God and manifested through us by God Himself in the Person of the Holy Spirit.  Godly sorrow first begins with and in us when we get a deep glimpse of who and what we are as sinners. Because of MY sin, Jesus had to die on a cross for ME. He took the punishment that was meant for Me upon Himself.  He died for someone who is unrighteous. Then the sorrow that began in me turned toward the Lord and I felt sorrow for Him.  I did not fully understand why. Most of the time we focus on the physical torture of a crucifixion. We will learn AFTER we are saved is that the sorrow we felt for the Lord Jesus is not as much for His physical suffering.  Let us face it. God Himself became the thing He loathes. Jesus became sin for ME. The Son of God was separated from His own righteousness in becoming sin for me, when He did not sin Himself. I deserved the punishment that He received.  It gets even deeper.

The Lord was separated from His Father because of ME and MY sin. So we do feel a sense of guilt and shame for the innocent suffering for the guilty.  So the godly sorrow that began with you begins to turn toward Jesus.  I remember I cried out “I am crying for what THEY did to Jesus. I did not realize 34 years ago that it was MY crime also. I was thinking of those who mocked and scorned Him and those who whipped and beat Him. I didn’t realize that I too “WAS THERE!” I did know that His punishment was for me, though. You see, Beloved, godly sorrow is not humanly aroused   sympathy or pity either for ourselves  or for the Lord. Godly sorrow is the entire work of the Holy Ghost. Too often movies like “the Passion of Christ” work up and upon human emotions that are often mistaken for godly sorrow that leads to repentance.

A simple little song defines the reason for godly sorrow, “He paid a debt He did not owe, I owed a debt I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away.”

Word of faithers and charismatic Christians teach that repentance is a change of mind. A change of mind can be s simple as changing my dinner menu from chicken to steak.  No.  Repentance is much more than that.

Repentance is the dark night of the soul. It is when we come face to face with our inner darkness. We cannot be translated out of darkness into the Lord’s marvelous light, until we truly see our inner depravity and sorrow over it.

The Message of the Cross of Christ? I never Heard of it…by Minister Francine

The cross of Christ, I never heard of it. No, not in church. I never heard a sermon on the message of the cross, until my first Easter sunday in a Word of Faith church. I found out that the message I did hear, was a recycled message that anybody could find online. The message was staged, and the pastor jumped down from the pulpit with a hop and stylish skip. He had, what Pam Sheppard calls a gimmick. The hop, the stylish skip, and the jumping from the pulpit, with a flourish might as well have been a stage show. The cross of Christ message the pastor gave never touched me. I sat there admiring his alligator shoes, and fancy pin stripe suit. Why? Because I was not saved then.

I thought I got saved while listening to a Benny Hinn broadcast. Benny Hinn called my name, he said ” Marlene you are saved”. My Mom looked at me with glee, and led me into the sinners prayer. I felt a little sorry for sins, I felt good and I wondered what God would now going to give or do for me. The cross of Christ, the resurrection power, Godly sorrow and repentance were not found in me. It was a set-up from the devil. I had a false conversion. I had what Pam Sheppard has coined a ” counterfeit birth “.
What happened when I finally got saved for real? I did not get saved in a church. I got saved in my own bedroom. My son’s father died after being in a coma for about three days. During the period of his ill-health, and after years of trouble from him, he was attending church. This man, who had been a problem to me for many years began apologizing left and right. At the time, I was in what the church falsely labels backsliding. Pam Sheppard has taught us this truth, yet some refuse to receive it. There is no such thing as backsliding…
My friends, there is no such thing as a backsliding Christian, for as the Apostle Paul says, in the Book of Hebrews 6:4,5,6 it is impossible.
It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift to fall away and be renewed again. If they shall fall away, to renew themselves again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God AFRESH, and put him to an open shame.
So then, when you are truly saved there is no backsliding. If there is backsliding ,what we are saying is the cross of Christ, and message of the cross, did not take the first time. What kind of mess is that? Is Christ’s resurrection power so weak, that the knowledge of it fails the first time, but works if we hear it a few more times?
Anyway, there I was in sin and never saved from the get go’. Don’t get me wrong, we do grow in Christ, but if we are truly saved we do not return to total darkness and start drinking like a fish and fornicating like a champ. If we do, as I did, we were never saved in the first place.
Back to the story of how I got truly saved. My son’s father was deathly sick and hospitalized. I realized that I was bitter towards him. I felt bad about that and begun to pray. I kept seeing a vision in front of me of the cross of Christ, I kept seeing Jesus on the cross and at first, did not know why.
As the days passed, I understood that I had never know Jesus at all. All I knew was a God who was going to give me ” stuff “. All I knew was a Jesus who was rich who would one day make me rich. I had pledged and made an unholy alliance with Satan. As I shared, my son’s father Brett was ill and I kept seeing the cross of Christ, and Jesus on the cross before me in vision. I had been praying about my own bitterness and reluctance to visit him. I called someone who reminded me of what Jesus had said on that cross. Jesus said, ” forgive them father, they know not what they do”. The word of Christ prompted me to visit Brett Sr. It was the day he had slipped into a coma. I went to his bedside. I held his hand and sung his favorite church songs. Kissed him on the forehead, and told him I forgave him, and forgave myself. He passed away that night and is greatly missed.

 

 

I was saved in my bedroom as the days progressed. I realized what a hypocrite I had been. I was never saved. How could I have been. I had returned to drugs, fornication and the world. The message of the cross never made a dent in me, I never heard it. When I did hear it once it was from an un-saved man posing as a pastor. I had looked death in the face because my son’s father died. I knew that if I died then, I would have gone into hell. But it was not hell itself that scared me. What frightened me, was that I would be totally cut off from God. I had fancied myself a spiritual person, a person who loved God and wrote Christian poetry. Those moments that I sat in my room, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was neither spiritual or saved. My so-called love for God was not there. My service to the church and ministry meant nothing.
My life in church flashed before me. I had been a works salvation. A works salvation is a ” counterfeit birth “. I was churched, as Pam would say. I had been on church boards and committees and such, but I was un-saved. I had written fancy Christian poetry, dripping with fleshy sentiment. When trouble came, I faltered from a crumbling foundation. My faith was never built on the rock. I was a wayside ” counterfeit birth”.
My bitterness flashed before me. I harbored bitterness against those who I thought had wronged me. I suffered clinical depression, the open door of un- forgiveness had ushered in a demonic spirit. How on earth is one saved and still having bouts of depression? Where is the power of the cross in that? I was a liar and a fake, the God I thought I loved was just then drawing me to him in my bedroom.
I cried, and I cried and I repented in those tears. As I lay in my bed the Lord bought me to Isaiah 53. Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? I had never believed the report that Jesus Christ of Nazareth died on the cross, that gruesome death but rose in the flesh. I never understood myself to be a wretched sinner. I had never understood, that this man Jesus, who was man and God in the flesh had to die in order for me to be saved.
I never knew that the sacrifice of his very life was needed to cleanse. What price can you put on a life? What price can you put on the life of the Son of God. As I read through Isaiah 53 and learned of the suffering servant, my joy became full. I knew why the Lord drew me to him by showing me a constant vision of Jesus on the cross. The work that was done on the cross proved the complete power of God– which no devil can match. Devils have no power to bring a dead body to life. Christ was dead but now alive in the flesh. The disciples had seen and believed this 2000 years ago, and I was seeing  and believing  it for the first time. And it was the same power that lifted Jesus from the cross that was now lifting me up.
I believed the report that day. I was grateful for what Christ had done on the cross, for me and for those who would believe on him. I was grateful for his mercy. I was happy and besides myself with joy. God had drawn me. His love was clear to me. My friends, the agony of that cross and the suffering it took to save me was clear. I loved the Lord God for his eternal kindness and saving grace. I deserved nothing, but God through Christ had given me all I will ever need. So then, in my bedroom, after years of church, I was finally saved.
I receive and trust every word that Pamela Sheppard teaches. For she speaks truth, the organized church is a conglomerate of abandoned buildings loaded to the brim with demons and fallen angels. The message of the cross of Christ is not preached. The abominable sinners prayer and I accept Jesus prayers save no one.
When I hear folks say they felt good, or they felt peace, or they felt calm, when they got saved I know something went wrong. If there is no mention of the cross, the resurrection of the flesh body of Christ or a Godly sorrow and repentance, Pam Sheppard’s coined term applies…they were NOT saved, but had a ” Counterfeit Birth”.
