Witchcraft: A Work of the Flesh

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

If you EVER dabbled in the occult, then your personality is susceptible to witchcraft as a work of your flesh. What do you do with a work of the flesh? YOU CRUCIFY IT. Treat it like it is DEAD! You cannot cast out what is a part of your personality.

More on Worshipping the FAKE JESUS

Writer: Tee

People who worship the Fake Jesus (Jesus Sananda Immanuel), MOST OF WHOM ARE MOST CHURCHGOING FOLKS WHO CLAIM TO BE SAVED, are by far, the MOST DIFFICULT to reach. Why? Because he has them so fooled that they actually think that the Jesus they are serving is the true Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and NOBODY CAN TELL THEM DIFFERENT. With all of his trickery, they don’t realize that they are serving a religious counterfeit, and often become heavily offended when their salvation is challenged.

Sananda is so clever that he uses what works with people: miracles, signs, wonders, warm-fuzzy feelings, and a LACK OF FAITH IN THE TRUTH. He preys on a person’s desperation for seeing to believe, since he knows that they have no faith. Faith on the power of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the most powerful weapon we have against the enemy. If he can steal your faith, he can win you over.

The more allegiance you have to Sananda, the more he can block you from seeing the truth, which can therefore block your salvation. When I had a false conversion, I did not make an invitation to Sananda. If I did, I would have been in demonic torment. I suppose that because of the fact that I never engaged in any practices that had me inviting Jesus into my heart, and therefore had no demons. So my salvation therefore was not blocked. It was easy for me to receive the truth, and I did not become offended when Pam challenged my salvation.

The more I heard Pam preach the gospel to me, the more I began to see it, and the more I wanted even more truth. My FAITH on the power of the cross and resurrection was being developed. Once I received that faith, the Holy Spirit was able to do His work!

Anyone who has said the sinners prayer, prayed Jesus into their heart, or somehow engaged in a practice that involved calling on Jesus or chanting for Jesus to come to them is at risk of being demonized. YOU DID NOT ENCOUNTER THE REAL JESUS CHRIST!!! Why you ask? Because Jesus Christ is not a spirit hovering around, waiting for us to beckon him. He is sitting at the right hand of the father in HUMAN FORM.

When Jesus Christ resurrected, he appeared before Mary Magdalene and other disciples to show them this very fact, so that they can see that he came back to life in his own body, and then ascended to heaven in that body. Yet this one very important aspect of the gospel is being watered down and dispelled all throughout the organized church!!!! Why? Because the enemy knows that people are so caught up in lusting after supernatural experiences that they will even ignore the very truth in order to get their supernatural fix. Think about it: how often do people go to church talking about “the presence,” and how much they want to “experience God?” FOR WHAT???? It’s all about THEM!!! It’s all about SELF-EDIFICATION. What in the world does that have to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? NOTHING.

People lack faith in the power of God, so they lust after the supernatural in order to find a reason or a way to believe in his power…when the power that they are seeking after is actually the power of the devil…nothing different than what psychics and mediums do…just in a different environment.

Want to know more about this topic? You need to get the book, “The Fake Jesus” in your hands. It goes into details about who the Fake Jesus is, his methods & strategies, and examples of ways he is deceiving folks ALL OVER THE WORLD. You can find the book on http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/pam_s911

Divination and Witchcraft: An Appeal to Fear!

Written by Pastor Pam Sheppard:

A word from Coach Pam Sheppard

Religious folk go around hollerin “the devil is a liar,” yet the minute he tells them somethin, they believe it. LOL

I think of one guy I once worked with. I cast demons from him on the phone and he was set completely free, immediately. He was also very active in RESCUE. Two weeks later, he committed an act that drew practically all demons back. Well Don sought me again  to expel demons from him.

I refused.  appeal-to-fear

Deliverance is not a game and I am not a game show host. He would have to commit to counseling before I would speak to his demons ever again.

Don did so and for a while, things looked hopeful until after his last  session with me, Don, a mega preacher wannabe, did not like me. The  demons saw their chance, capitalizing on Don’s personal conflict with me.

So a demon told him,” Pam is a witch.”

The next morning, Don reported that he could hear my voice in his head, cussin him out, a thing I was once known to do quite well—back in the day.” So this particular evil spirit  has been watching me for decades, knowing how I used to “get down.”

Here is where I stand on this.

Anybody who comes to me with such a report, I listen to them quite intently. For should I discern even an inkling that he or she believes the demons over me, then I am DONE with him or her on ALL levels.

Here is how divination works. The enemy has difficulty “putting a spell on you” unless he first informs YOU about it. So a spirit will tell you that your friend or your neighbor is a witch or a wizard. And it may be true. But they want to make sure you know it so they can put fear in you of that person. Then the demons will use your self-induced anxieties, doubts and fears to bring THEIR plans about in YOUR life. In other words, devils and demons are skilled at making YOU your own worst enemy.

You see, they can’t “do what they do,” without your cooperation and consent.

In order to control our lives, the enemy has to “plant his desires” into our spirits.

About five years ago, someone sent me a message. She had a vision that witches were trying to bring harm on me  and that they were attempting to put a spell on me. I didn’t scold her. Wouldn’t make any sense because the damage had already done.  The goal is to project fear into their target by making sure they hear that someone is practicing witchcraft on them.  At that very moment, I was involved in an antagonistic  situation with someone who had “witchcraft in her background.” So of course, my eyebrow was raised but I didn’t panic. I was just extra careful and observant. That was five years ago and nothing has transpired.

The thing to do is to “watch and pray.” Keep your mouth shut until the crisis, if there is one, has passed. Also, you would-be prophets, don’t let the enemy use YOU to plant fear into someone who you care about. Pray and rest in God. If God showed her that someone was praying against me, then the Holy Ghost was calling her to pray. Fallen angels are extremely skilled at using friends, the people even of your own household, to speak evil into your life. So wisdom is certainly necessary. I learned the hard way to “be slow to speak.”

The Fall From Grace of Mega Preachers: The People vs Joel Osteen

Written by Gloria

unnamed

Right on the heels of the Charlottesville riots, Hurricane Harvey made landfall near Rockport, Texas bringing with it death and the loss of property. One of the major headlines concerning this natural disaster had to do with Joel Osteen,  a prominent, mega-preacher in Texas who sent a tweet stating that he and his wife will pray for the those affected. The backlash started almost immediately on alot of social media platforms. Many tweets, memes, videos were posted where people were berating Joel and demanding more than “prayers” from him.

Joel Osteen and Lakewood Church are experiencing a PR nightmare, we have seen corporations that have bounced back from corporate gaffes and others destroyed from it. We are yet to see how this incident will affect Joel in the long-term. The Institutional Church herein referred to as the (I.C.) is part of the world system so it uses the tactics of the world to get by, the Spirit of God is not in any of their dealings.

There are those who have shown unwavering support for Joel  but what caught my interest is that there is a substantial amount of people as seen on social media who feel one thing for mega-preachers – ANGER. Gone are the days when people would shy away from speaking against a “man of God.” After Joel’s tweet, the comments came fast & furious making it seem like people were waiting for an incident to happen so they can let loose and tell Joel what they really feel.

There are people who are mad, fuming not just at Joel but at the I.C. and at mega-preachers. In some way it felt like there was nothing Joel could do to appease the critics, the arguments started with why didn’t he open the church early to he opened the church because of the social media pressure. Any interview Joel gave was dissected to show how his efforts weren’t genuine, even his body language was being analyzed to strengthen the claims that he didn’t want to be there helping people. Every thing he did was an offense.

Clearly, there are people who still love & support mega preachers but there is also another group that have become weary of mega-preachers and refuse to see any good in them. This group sees mega-preachers as scammers, Period! even acts of kindness are looked at suspiciously as many wait for the money grab to be revealed sooner or later.

I have belonged to both groups of people at different times in my life. I have blindly loved and supported mega-preachers and even defended them to critics, then as the years went by I became a critic as I noticed their teachings were pseudo-deep, they embraced the world and repeatedly taught the prosperity gospel. I left the church and would watch a lot of videos exposing ministries and false preachers we have today, which are plenty. The Irony is, in both states I thought I was walking in truth but the reality was I was still deceived. I had some partial truth in that I could see some of these leaders were false teachers but I still engaged in I.C. practices & believed I was born again because I had asked Jesus into my heart, I believed in a false gospel.

The major spiritual problem today is not the mega preacher phenomenon or false teachers – that is just a symptom of a bigger issue. If we spent time analyzing who is a false prophet and who isn’t we would be here for days as the list is endless. Time is really of the essence so what you need to see is that the entire I.C. is condemned and the Spirit of God is not there. For those who have left the I.C., if they still engaged in religious practices or hold on to church teachings, they could still be deceived.

Pastor Pam Sheppard addresses the Spiritual problem in our time in The Church of The End Time Zombies, an excerpt reads:-

Statistics show that floods of people are leaving the I.C. daily. The question is, where are they going? It could be that many of these folk are just joining up with yet another branch of the I.C. or doing the I.C. thing at home. Opening a church in your home by teaching the same false doctrines and practices, causes your home to be just as dangerous.”

The I.C. has been taken over by fallen angels and demons, nothing good can come out of it. The Lord Jesus already prophesied the future of the I.C. in the parable of the mustard seed.

As people who are preparing for the return of the Lord Jesus, we need to understand that holding on to partial truths is just as dangerous as believing a lie. It is good to know who is a false teacher, so you can avoid their traps, but spending time studying and exposing one preacher to the next is a tedious task as there are many.

The I.C isn’t under attack by being infiltrated by false teachers, it’s actually the I.C. that creates an environment for these preachers to grow and thrive. A word from Pastor Pam concerning mega-pastors in her own personal experience.

A word of caution. The religious demon assigned to me tried to set me up to become a false prophet.  In several dreams, he showed me standing before huge audiences, walking up and down across a platform with my bible in my hand, preaching and teaching.  He even showed me pastoring a church of about 10,000 people.  Because I sought after the power to slay in the spirit, after 10 years of seeking, I got it. I could wave my hand, and certain ones would fall out, unconscious.  However, I began to question this power because I noticed that the ones in my congregation who fell out the most, were also those who could not STAND for the Lord, relapsing or backsliding constantly.  So I said to myself, “Pam, there is something wrong with this so-called gift. This cannot be from the Holy Ghost!”  Once I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to “show me the darkness,” I got quite the wakeup call that revealed that the mega preacher phenomena of today is NOT of the Lord.  It is a combination of human charisma, “anointed” by the enemy’s power.”

Understand the times that we live in so you won’t be deceived with the spiritual blindness that’s all over, if you don’t know where to start, read “The Church of the End Time Zombies”, you can get a copy at:-

Witchcraft in the Church

By Gloria

As a member of RESCUE who has experienced being set free from demons, one of the things that surprised me as I went through counseling and detoxed from religion was the fact that I had engaged in witchcraft without my knowledge. Looking back I never interacted with people who engaged in witchcraft. In fact, to my knowledge,i never even read occult books or watched any occult shows. I considered such things as the worship of the devil— pure evil which i didn’t want to be associated with.

Consequently, It was shocking and humbling to discover that some of my self- righteous religious acts were no different from those of a new age practitioner . So even though I never engaged in the occult, it was shocking to discover that I learned witchcraft practices in the Institutional Church.

Witchcraft can simply be defined as the practice of magic, the use of spells and invoking spirits.

There are several ways that I was duped into witchcraft while attending an Institutional church.

Witchcraft Prayers

I owned several spiritual warfare books and recited statements that involved commanding “angels”, the stars, planets and even God. I would bind the devil and cast him back to hell. These prayers used scripture out of context. For sure, no human can command God to do anything, so to think otherwise is foolish. We lie to ourselves if we think God is at our beck and call.

To command the sun, moon, planets and stars is delusional, but to command angels has a dangerous spin to it. Gods’ angels do not accept our invitations or instructions but fallen angels do, in order for the devil to have legal right to be in your life, you have to invite him in.

My invitation to these fallen angels had severe consequences. I started suffering from demonic torment – my mind, body and soul was under constant attack. My fear grew greatly as the attacks would happen mainly at night.

During prayer meetings, people used to be manipulated to change their ways by being shamed in public prayers where intercessors would air out people’s issues. When ministers control & manipulate people’s behavior, their actions are a clear sign of witchcraft. There are many examples of how people are controlled in the church and public prayer is one of the them.

Religious Rituals

To counter the demonic torment that I suffered from, I turned to more rituals – applying anointing oil on my bed, door, windows, ceilings and on myself. Inviting the Holy Spirit to come in and fill my apartment, I played worship music and recited bible verses and prayers. None of this helped, In fact, I simply added fuel to the fire. My religious acts were also motivated by fear not faith.

Bibliomancy

I would also, seek out random passages in the Bible and apply them to my life with no regard for the context. I also used it to “decree and declare” my future and pray for certain events to occur. This practice which I was taught in the church actually comes from the Middle ages where people who practiced divination would open the bible and whichever page they landed upon, they would read out the scripture and use it to give spiritual insight into what they are looking for. I was pretty much behaving like my own psychic.

Worshipping in the flesh

The Bridal paradigm in the church has brought about the increase of love songs to Jesus which are disguised as praise and worship songs. Everytime I engaged in a worship session, I would feel warm and tingly in my chest, I assumed that these were “feelings of God’s love” overflowing in me. These experiences were short lived which caused me to depend upon an emotional roller-coaster. The more I felt unloved, the more needed to attend more worship sessions to feel loved. I’ve come to learn that love is not a feeling & more importantly the Holy Spirit does not entertain our flesh. These manifestations of “love” were all sensual and had nothing to do with the Spirit of God. True believers of the Lord Jesus have to worship in Spirit & in Truth.

In the New Idolatry, Pastor Pam Sheppard writes in detail how witchcraft has infiltrated the Institutional Church, One part that stood out to me is how a new age practitioner and a Charismatic Christian could address a similar issue using methods that many would assume are worlds apart, when in reality, they actually are similar and run parallel to each other. Below is an excerpt from the book:-

“For the sake of comparison, consider how both a new age practitioner and a Charismatic Christian would approach a typical problem, namely, a woman seeking to stop the infidelity of a lover or husband. From the occultist, the woman might be required to purchase a defense enchantment like burying her man’s shirt at full moon, while pronouncing a curse or a magic formula seven times. As the shirt wears out and disintegrates in the ground overtime, so also will the man’s love for the other woman fade and dissolve.

Both the occultists and those deceived by charismatic teachings rely on the credulity and readiness of those they counsel and advise. In like manner, charismatic witchcraft might approach this classic problem from a variety of religious perspectives, with the twist that God is made amenable to the woman’s plans. Supernatural dreams and visions labeled the discerning of spirits, a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge and prophecy, intercessory prayers of “binding and loosing” and the taking of scripture out of their natural context and applying them to the woman’s personal agenda are the primary methods of choice. In this instance, the woman might be advised to pray over her man’s side of the bed, anoint it with oil or holy water, name it and claim it by sending forth evil prayers against her man’s lover, in unsavory ways unbefitting to Jesus Christ, and pray controlling, manipulative prayers to change the man’s behavior.Rather than deal openly with the issues of infidelity, sin and spousal abuse, Charismatics are infamous for seeking “the supernatural solution.”

To my dismay, I learned, that many practices both in and out of the church that are widely accepted as normal today actually have their origins in witchcraft. I thank God for my deliverance journey that started when I reached out to Pastor Pam who walked me through the deliverance process, helped me break my false conversion and discard false teachings. I got healed from my torment once I received the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Since we live in such deceptive times, you could be engaging in witchcraft practices, totally unaware. The danger in doing so is you open yourself up to the spiritual world and give demons legal rights to enter your life and run it amok.

Why the Sinners Prayer Led to the Great Falling Away

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

I believe that it was the traditional congregation’s invitation, of “opening the doors of the church,” that  ushered in  countless demons into the visible church system.  The founding fathers of Methodism  instituted a superior practice of placing those who seek to escape the wrath that is to come  on a probationary  membership status. The founding fathers of Methodism were wise enough to not only create a procedure to  ensure a bona fide salvation but also to protect the body from fellowship with unbelievers.  However, over time, the full enforcement of this practice became ineffective, as people were brought into permanent church status without having manifested fruits of salvation.  I personally believe that when converts can demonstrate that they are truly disciples of the Lord, then we can fellowship with them as brethren, and not before.

Yet another open door to the religious demon is the coined spiritual phrases.  A  Christian idiom most frequently expressed is  “the Lord led me.”  In a book called “Unholy Devotion,” the author aptly warns of the danger of spiritualizing:

At first glance the phrase sounds quite spiritual, but a close examination of Scripture reveals that it is not always biblical. On several occasions the phrase is used by or to describe false prophets or deceptive people. Jacob deceived his father by spiritualizing issues. Esau, Jacob’s brother, had just gone hunting. Too quickly, it seemed, Jacob, claiming to be Esau, brought the killed game to his father. “How did you find game so quickly?” Isaac asked. Having usurped Esau’s place, Jacob lied to his sick, blind father. But notice Jacob’s very ‘spiritual’ response: ‘The Lord your God gave me success.” (Gen27:20) Jacob was playing dangerous games, spiritualizing in order to manipulate someone he knew would believe such words. Jacob wasn’t a false cult leader or prophet; he was God’s own chosen servant”.

Christians often think that the seeds of heresy are found only in cults and in off-beat sects of Christianity. But John, in his first letter, and Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, reminded us that heretical teachers are often found within the church itself. Jesus notes that the dormant seeds of heresy can be buried in the lawns of the church. In Matthew 13, Jesus tells a parable of the kingdom of heaven: The enemy sowed sees within this kingdom. In our desire to discover and understand the doctrines of cults, we may forget that potential gardens of heresy lie within our own walls. Remember: Sun Myung Moon was raised a Presbyterian; David Berg, founder of the Children of God, was once an Evangelical pastor; Jim Jones pastored a Christian church; many leaders in the People’s Temple and Jonestown were former members of Nazarene, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist and Assemblies of God Churches.” 1 (HL Bussell, pg.111)

Besides the altar call, the invitation to Christian discipleship, and the various professions of faith, there are  other  coined religious platitudes and phrases like “Jesus, come into my heart” and “I accepted Jesus into my life”  that  lead to  counterfeit births.   I myself have not been able to find any scriptures in the bible that suggest that we should ask Jesus to come into our hearts.   I believe that when the Lord says that we must abide in Him, He means that we must stay in Him without wavering, in other words,—- to continue, to dwell, to be present, to remain. This is the essence of the Greek word,  that was translated “abide” in John 15.  Accordingly, baring fruit in Christ is a manifestation of a believer continuing and remaining in Him.

Yet Satan’s plot against the organized church  actually took shape  under the ministry of a preacher called Charles Finney.

Charles Finney

Finney was quite a wicked looking man, as you can see the devil all up in his face. The man lived a long time when you consider that in his lifetime, the average live span was  from the late forties to about 65.  Finney lived tobe 83, from 1792-1875. A fiery New York preacher, Finney’s impact on church traditions and practices has been  so profound, that his influence is still spreading globally almost two centuries later.  Finney’s notoriety is that he is the one who brought the entire church the “make a decision for Christ” through repeating the sinners prayer and the altar call.  A practicing freemason for 8 years, Finney eventually disavowed if.  Yet what I have learned about freemasonry is that it is witchcraft. And you just  don’t walk away from witchcraft without a struggle.

Anyway, in a nutshell,  Finney believed that human beings were capable of choosing whether they would be corrupt by nature or redeemed, referring to original sin as an “anti-scriptural and nonsensical dogma”  In clear terms, Finney denied the notion that human beings possess a sinful nature. Therefore, if Adam leads us into sin,  he does so not by our inheriting his guilt and corruption, but by our  following his poor example, this leads logically to the view of Christ as not having died for sins but for some lofty, moralistic reason.

Well, this was the man who started the altar call, invitation to Christian discipleship, “I accept Jesus,” practice that has led to the greatest falling away—the one that Paul himself predicted would transpire.  Consequently, due to Charles Finney, souls have probably not been saved within the organized church system for at least 150 years!!!! This doctrine has  primarily affected the Protestants much  more than the Catholics. Another fallen angel, Mother Mary had a different strategy for THEM. The “make a decision, I accept Jesus gospel has so permeated all Protestant Church tradition, a problem that Baptist preacher Paul Washer is diligently trying to correct, to no avail.  Washer is correct on this score but there  are errors in his teaching as well, which is yet “another story.”  Another practice that Finney started was to use the preacher’s invitation at the end of a sermon to evoke an emotional response, in other words to create a charged up atmosphere to manipulate a false conversion.

To Be Born Again, Wait on God’s Call!

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

I have examined my salvation at least three times according to II Corinthians 5:13, seriously examined it, because it was so supernatural. And the reason my salvation is my only personal possession is because I never accepted Jesus into my heart. I never sought Him. In fact, I did not believe that He actually was a literal human being that lived on Earth. I thought He was a myth, made up by the white man to keep my black  people enslaved with all of His meekness and turn the other cheek behavior, which was not my  personality at all. I was not afraid of hell because I did not believe in hell either. I confess that I was both proud and adamant in my position as an atheist.

So what I received was a call.

The problem is that religious folk have “accepted”  Jesus before they heard His call. The call is not about going into ministry. The call is when God is reaching out to you to tell you, “I saved you before I created the foundations of the earth. I knew you when you were in your mother’s womb. Oh atheist Pam, you were an atheist for 33 years, but I knew you, and I called you.” And when you get a call, you get that call on a specific day and time. Now He may have been drawing you for years, and He definitely has sent angels to stand by and protect you to keep the devil from killing you before you heard the call. my day and time was Monday, March 29, 1977 at 4 pm.

Everybody who is born again who is saved by God hears a call. And where does that call take you? It takes you to the cross. That’s where you gotta go. You gotta go to the cross. And you may not know then the victory of the Lord’s blood, the power of His blood to ruin all the enemy’s plans that he has for you, the power of that blood to keep you. That’s the meaning of baptism, you have been baptized into His death, into His cross and raised out of that water into His resurrection. Lord have mercy. The call will also take you to His resurrection.  The Holy Spirit will give you faith to believe that a dead man got up in the body He died in, and walked out of His grave alive, never to die again.

It’s a call! So, those who want to argue with me on this subject, who want to say “well what about my will, what about my will and my decision to choose God?” You know that doesn’t even really sound right. How can we choose God while we are yet dead in our trespasses and sins?

Let’s see what the bible says about this. What about your willpower in this?

I asked myself this question since I  was a person with a very strong willpower. In fact, I  stood against my grandmother every Sunday. There was a church and my grandfather was the pastor. As an eight year old, I stood with my willpower as a young child and said to Grandma Greta “NO, I’m not going to that church, I’m not going to your church. I don’t believe in Jesus, I WILL not go”, and I did not go!!!

So what happened to my willpower when I got the call? It almost seems like it disappeared. I was just caught up, snatched up in the call. You say “prove it to me, show me in the bible.” Well look at Ezekiel the 36th chapter. This is the prophetic words of God about the new birth. He doesn’t mention Jesus by name, but He does mention Him. He says, “I will sanctify My great name, I will take you from among the heathen.” And that’s what happened to Me, the one my grandmother used to call a heathen.

I was taken from among the heathen and gathered out. He says “I will sprinkle clean water upon you.” Look at God’s emphasis. On all the “I will’s.” He says “I willsprinkle clean water upon you. I will give you a new heart, I will give you a new spirit, I will put a new spirit within you, I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, I will put My Spirit in you, and I will cause you to walk in My statutes and you shall keep My judgments and do them.”

And that’s what 40 years of my  life have been about. I  got caused to be where I am now. Why? Because He said “I will put My Spirit within you, and it is My Spirit within you that will cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments and do them.” Lord have mercy. It’s the fear of the Lord, that Spirit within, that has caused ME  to be 40 years in Him.

And then He says “I will also save you from all your uncleanness.” That’s what He does in Christ. Many have jumped out and said “I accept Jesus.” And so, since they accepted Jesus, then they have to cause themselves to keep the laws and the statutes and to obey God. It becomes a real work for them, but it’s a work without power. Why?

They didn’t wait on the call.

Wait on Him to call you. If you have a desire for Jesus Christ of Nazareth, then God is moving upon you. Wait for Him to call you. Don’t get duped into saying, “come into my heart.” Jesus Christ of Nazareth does not come into anybody’s heart. But the Fake Jesus does. If you need help, contact me at rescueonfb@icloud.com, because you are going to have to uninvite the Fake Jesus out of your heart, and you’re going to need some help doing that.

The devil’s deception was broken in my life because I am quick to admit to error and I am not a people pleaser.

Facebook is a place where everyone wants to teach and be heard and few want their followers to know that they don’t know very much.   Rebellion and belligerence is very apparent in their various posts which portrays a rebellious spirit. Since rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, many Facebook teachers are in the hands of the enemy and God has turned some of  them over to strong delusion.

There are some teachers on facebook that have actually put people in bondage with their teachings.  I won’t call any names but the truth is that their pride keeps them from being teachable. The enemy loves pride because deception is made easy when we think more highly of ourselves then we ought to think. I am not an advocate of the world’s self-esteem teaching that has been adopted by the religious world.  Self-esteem as defined by the world is when the world has high regards for you.  You are accepted, found to be worthy and considered competent. In other words, worldly self-esteem is rooted in what others think of you. And for this reason, those who seek worldly favor will compromise to obtain and sustain the world’s approval.  Christians of this persuasion find that they are always trying to fit in and in so doing, they disobey the Lord’s will to please others.

I have purposed and established in my heart that my self-esteem is found in Jesus Christ.  The Lord is the only one I need to please because I love truth. When the motives of the heart are not pure, truth will be hidden.  To be pure is to be clear, articulate, unclouded understanding.  Not confused, covered up or clandestine. When something is not pure, it is defiled.  To defile is to contaminate or to pollute.  When the heart is not pure, then Satan’s job is easy because defilement has come from within US, usually because of pride. For pride begins with what we say in our hearts and what we believe in our minds. Jesus linked pride to adulteries, fornication, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy and foolishness. (Mark 7:20-22) A proud mind is not pure because it thinks, feels and behaves in ways that suggest that we think too highly of ourselves.

Pride, self esteem and vanity deny and conceal the truth. These 3 traits will pull you away from the Lord’s will by quenching and grieving the Holy Spirit and your spirit will become blocked from God’s revelation about what is to come.  Pride is also PHONY. Nothing real about it because it puts forth a facade or an act. Pride will cause you to deny your feelings, and pretend so much that you even fool yourself.  But the devil is not fooled. He knows when you are “fronted” before him in your effort to appear to be in control, putting forth that lie when you routinely boast that you are blessed by God. As you over compensate, pride will prevent you from admitting that you need help and therefore the enemy can use your pride to block you from crucial resources.

The proud religious person must ALWAYS appear to be knowledgeable and therefore he or she will never admit to not knowing or understanding a verse of scripture, because they are concerned that others will think them stupid and so they will even lie to cover up their ignorance or their weakness as they hide the truth to protect their religious image. Such people are already in the hands of  a religious demon. Pride goeth before a fall!

A proud person is not wise either. They make stupid, even costly mistakes. As vanity is excessive pride, a vain person’s conceit will bring sure destruction for self-deception is an open doorway to failure.  Proud people :

  • are outraged when others think that they are superior to them
  • are defensive, always justifying themselves
  • are critical in their efforts to tear down others to build themselves up
  • will hunger for prestige by seeking praise and approval from others
  • adopt the ways of those they are trying to please.
  • make EVERYTHING personal.
  • will live in the past and hunger for “the good old days.”

To the proud I  declare that the world did not create you. The world did not redeem you. When you justify yourself before men, you establish them as your lord with authority and you enable the enemy to deceive you. Remember. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

IS POSITIVE THINKING BIBLICAL?

Written by Gloria

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” Proverbs 23:7

What interpretation do you have about this verse? I was taught that this verse spoke on how I can shape my reality by what I think, that our thoughts have the power to alter our lives, and that we can make ourselves what we want to be.

But does this verse really teach about the power of our thoughts?

While detoxing from religion, one of the main things I learned  is that It’s important at all times to consider the context of a bible verse. Some factors to look into when reading the bible is  to consider who is the target audience and whether or not  the writer was speaking (referring) to someone specific . To assume that every verse written is personally directed to you is a dangerous way of reading the bible.

It’s also good to have an idea of the historical & cultural context of a particular verse. The question to ask is whether or not the passage of scripture is relevant to present day living.

Let’s look at the verse in relation to the rest of the chapter.

Proverbs 23:1-8

1. When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

The writer was advising someone that even though this person says “Eat & drink”, be careful not to assume that he is a generous man.  For the words coming out of his mouth may not match what’s in his heart.  why?  because “his heart is not with thee”.

Do not be fooled by the words and generous acts of someone, If  the generosity doesn’t come from the heart, then he is not a generous person. He acts a certain way because he has evil motives.

So within the context of scripture, it becomes clear that the verse has nothing to do with positive thinking or the power of the mind.  Rather, it is addressing hypocrisy. Simply put, people can outwardly act a certain way but their true character is what is in their heart.

So where did this verse get linked to power of thought?

In 1903 a book titled “As a man thinketh” was published by the author James Allen.
download (2)
James Allen was a British philosophical writer and considered a pioneer of the self-help movement in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. His best known work is the book “As a Man Thinketh” which is likely based on the Biblical verse Proverbs 23:7 which states: “For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

Some quotes from his book

“A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.”

“As a being of Power, Intelligence, and Love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills.”

“If he will link cause and effect by patient practice and investigation….. As a means of obtaining that knowledge of himself. “He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened”; for only by patience, practice, and ceaseless importunity can a man enter the Door of the Temple of Knowledge.”

The book primarily teaches that man is self-sufficient to transform his situations, its starts in the mind and everything else follows.

One of the deceptions that is rampant is believing everything that comes from the devil must have a negative connotation to it. If a teaching is meant to help you become better, the assumption is that there’s no way it came from the devil, based upon a belief  that the devil doesn’t want you to be the best you can be! This is not true! The devil is the author of many positive teachings that might even produce some beneficial  effects in your life. Nevertheless, that’s a part of the trap,—to make you believe you are embracing something great when you are actually been set up to be demonized.

The church has joined in teaching the power of positive thinking, notably Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes to name a few; many ministers cherry pick verses to back this false doctrine by teaching that  if people remain positive and grateful,  their situations will change for the better.

It’s alarming that the church has endorsed a teaching that originates from ripping Proverbs 23:7 completely out of context.

By their fruits, you shall know them

What fruits come from this teaching?

It denies people the opportunity to listen to the gospel – instead of people listening to the true gospel of Jesus Christ; they go to church to receive a pep talk telling them that even though they are facing challenges, they can turn it around. How will people know the gospel when they are not even hearing it to begin with? And when they do hear the gospel, it’s a different version that asks them to accept Jesus into their heart.

People are being taught techniques on how to change their thinking from negative to positive with the help of certain activities such as meditation – a practice that facilitates entrance into an altered state of consciousness (ASC). An altered state causes peoples’ chakras to be open & for demons to enter. Pastor Pam has several blogs & videos teaching on how Christians have been deceived into opening their chakras and getting demonized, you can read more on this at:-

Christians Who Open the 7 Chakras Are Demonized!

Also the topic is covered extensively in the book “The Church of the Endtime Zombies”. The link for the paperback & e-book are listed below.

This teaching is also very focused on self & that the power to change is inside of you. Romans 3:23 states that all have fallen short, so we don’t have the power to make ourselves clean from sin, we cannot cause out spirits to be born again by positive thinking. There are some changes people can make in their lives for the better but being born again is something that only the Holy Spirit can do.

This belief in the unregenerated self has given rise to people referring to themselves as “I AM” with views that since humans are made in the image of God,  that we are little gods, another false teaching.

Reading a bible verse in its proper context is crucial in the times we live in, it’s easy to be carried away by false doctrine if you don’t question or challenge what you are taught. “As a man thinketh so is he” addresses hypocrisy not the power of our thoughts.

Born Again? Or Are You Following Sananda?

The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth asked an interesting question.  How many believers would He find on earth when He returns.. The rhetorical answer can be inferred to be  “not many.” Why?  Because of false conversions.

A false conversion occurs in the following instances:

1.  A person makes a decision to “accept” Jesus and then ends up boasting, “I am saved because I chose to follow Jesus.”  Often this person has repeated a sinner’s prayer or responded to a minister’s invitation to “walk forward” at the close of the sermon.  There is also no evidence of repentance.  Nor is their evidence  that the believer understood either the cross or the resurrection of Jesus Christ at the time of he alleged salvation experience.

2. A person assumes because his or her family are professing, churchgoing Christians, and since he or she has attended church from birth, that he or
she is “saved.”

3.A Charismatic/Pentecostal person has sought the Holy Ghost through the manifestation of the speaking in tongues.  Since the believer actually had a “tongue manifestation,” an assumption is made that the person is saved.

What I have uncovered through deliverance counseling, is this.

To review or purchase a paperback, click the book’s cover. To purchase an e-book, click the title link highlighted in the text.

When a counterfeit birth has taken place, the devil steps in, represented by a fallen angel who now calls himself “Jesus Sananda Immanuel.”  You can either obtain a copy  my book, “The Fake Jesus: Fallen Angels Among Us,” or google with Sananda’s name, and you will find that Sananda claims that he has infiltrated the entire organized church. Consequently, when prayers and worship are offered, it is Sananda, and not Jesus Christ of Nazareth who is unknowingly  appealed to.  So in other words, the believer is actually practicing idolatry without realizing what has occurred and who he or she is worshiping.

If I were a betting person, I would put all of my savings on the expectation that 90% of the people who sincerely believe that they are born again fall in one of the three categories cited. Yet there is a fourth category. It includes  those who have had supernatural experiences which included sin, the cross,  godly sorrow with the bodily resurrection of the Lord either minimized, assumed, or not not a part of the experience AT All.  This category ads another 5% to those who have had a false conversion.  The other 5 % were born again BEFORE they went to church, either in their homes, at an airport, etc.

256x256_fit_one_bestfit (69)My point is: THEY DID NOT BECOME BORN AGAIN INSIDE A CHURCH.  If they believe they did, then they are deceived.

How many of the people who have had a false conversion are of the elect of God?  I don’t know.  I suspect between 25-75%.  The rest are damned anyway because God did not choose them.

Examining whether or not YOU are in the faith is scriptural.  So check out II Cor 13:5.  If you want help with this very important task, fill out the contact form below.  Provide a detailed description of  the day you believe you got born again in the comment box.
