Reflexions on Deliverance and Demonic Manifestations by Pam Sheppard

Written by: Pastor Pam Sheppard

I no longer consider myself a deliverance minister within the general expectations of the Christian world.  In fact, I only use the title for want of a better keyword to fit the requirements of Internet search engines.  Since 1983 with my first deliverance, I have developed a skeptical sense about what is actually going on within deliverance ministry circles. What has been proven to me particularly within the last decade is that evil spirits love deliverance ministry because it provides them with unique and almost unlimited opportunities to communicate and “put on a show of theatrics with their various “manifestations.”

For example, take Catholic exorcisms.  With all the demonic teachings like the deification of both Mary and the saints, how could a Catholic cast out demons, as both are a part of the same kingdom and as the Lord stated, “Satan does not cast out Satan.” So logically speaking, how can holy water when scattered on a captive  bring about a response of agony coupled with horrendous groans and howls, as if the demons are affected by water blessed by a Catholic priest?  Such acting on the part of evil spirits should earn them an Academy Award.  For Catholicism as it stands does not have  power over Satan or any fallen angels or demons under the devil’s  command.  Therefore, a demonically inspired religion does not impress  me to believe that holy water has any power over demons and therefore the “over the top” manifestations are theatrical at best.

In general, what I have discovered is that the more an evil spirit is able to speak through a captive and move the captive’s body parts, the more in control that spirit is. What follows is a probability that that spirit is not coming out very easy. Oh it may pretend to leave but it has not been cast out.  This is yet another aspect of their theatrics.  Most evil spirits know how to fake a deliverance.

So as a rule of thumb, I do not cast out demons until I am familiar with the captive and his or her issues. During this stage, my most useful weapon is the application of truth by overthrowing all preconceived notions, assumptions, false religious doctrine and practices, as well as challenging the captive’s tendency toward passivity.

Once I confront the spirits, if there are no manifestations, then I consider the possibility that:

1. There are no demons in the captive and that the symptoms represent outside oppression  or

2. The captive is oppressed by a fallen angel and not a demon or

3. The demon is clever enough to hide or “play possum.”

In all three cases, deliverance counseling is the option of choice.

However, if there ARE manifestations, then I have to consider that

1.the evil spirits are playing games or

2. The spirit knows it will prevail because it has legal rights so  it becomes bold and boastful with the manifestations, or

3. The evil spirit will pretend to go.

Nevertheless, I guard against labeling the oppressed as there are no real blueprints.  Every deliverance counseling session unfolds in it’s own individual fashion.  I am simply not impressed by either the lack of demonic  manifestations or conversely,  spirits desiring to use the captive as a channel to speak to me.

In either case, I will not entertain a conversation with evil spirits.  In fact, I will not allow these beings to speak.

If you want to know more about the hypocrisy built into deliverance ministry, you need the book, “Be Delivered From Deliverance Ministry”

Understanding  the Abomination of Desolation: Has It Happened Already?

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

Clearly it happened once in Jewish history as Daniel predicted that it would.  In the year 167 BC. A Greek ruler, by the name of Antiochus Epiphanies committed two blasphemous acts in the second Jewish temple: He set up an altar to the Greek god Zeus and also he sacrificed a pig on the altar.

The Lord knew of that particular abomination as it occurred some two hundred years BEFORE  His words were recorded in Matthew 24:15.  So clearly, the Lord was prophesying about an event that would transpire in the last days, since the end of the gentile age is the subject matter of Matthew 24.  It stands to reason that in a similar way that the Lord compared the last days  to the days of Noah, in like manner, He also highlighted  the prophecy of Daniel with the caviat of “let the reader understand.”

Now the general understanding of those who interpret endtime signs is that before this particular sign can be fulfilled, the Jews will need to build a new temple.  So we could further assume that the Antichrist will not be revealed until that non existent temple is built in Jerusalem.

But what if that is not the understanding the Lord wants the endtime age to have?

Whatever the future abomination is, if it is an overt act of the desecration of a Jewish temple, the obvious nature of such an act would not need very much understanding or interpretation.

AT the time that the Lord was questioned about the end of the age and His response recorded by Matthew in the 24th chapter,  the church age had not yet begun but would be shortly ushered in by a few of the Lord’s apostles and disciples on the day of Pentecost. So clearly, it made no sense for the Lord not to reveal at that time how the church age would evolve 2000 years into the future to people who were about to bring forth the age of the church. For to know the end before the beginning would definitely have blocked the motivation of  the apostles and disciples to begin and continue the work of building the church. Rather, it’s the last generation of the elect who truly need “to understand.”

So my question is this.  Suppose the Lord was not referring to the abomination of desolation as a part of Jewish history, but in reality, perhaps He predicted Christian history in its last days?  The accepted understanding within a common endtime understanding is that the Antichrist will establish a covenant with Israel for 7 years and then perform some blasphemous, unspeakable abomination, similar to what Antiochus Ephiphanies did in the second Jewish temple, before it was destroyed in 70 AD.

Yet built into the new covenant, the temple of God is clearly the reborn human spirit.  There are several scriptures to support the belief that the spirit of man is the temple of The Lord, both in the Old Testament and more so in the new.  So what if the abomination of desolation has occurred and is still occurring in the temple or spirit within those who claim to be God’s people?

So consider this. Would it not be an abomination of desolation to go to a church altar, expecting to receive the Holy Ghost into your spirit but instead, you received a  religious demon aka the spirit of the antichrist?

Anyone who knows even a little about kundalini yoga and the 7 chakras are aware of the fact that every human being has 7 spiritual gateways or doorways in his body. Through entering a state of passivity, yoga, meditation, hypnosis, chanting, even speaking in tongues will create an altered state of consciousness (ASC) conducive enough to crack open each  spiritual doorway, one by one. I would include falling slain in the spirit, holy laughter, speaking in tongues, the holy dance, shouting, running around the church, flopping one’s head back and forth, as additional practices that stir up the kundalini spirit and open the 7 doorways.

Chakras are actually doorways for Hindu gods who themselves are really principalities and powers. Each of these entities stand guard over each of the 7 portals: Over the crown is Shiva; the third eye is Hakini, the throat is Savashiva, the navel is Vahni, the sexual organs are Vishnu and Rakeeni, the anus is Brahma and the heart is Isha.

Since no where in the bible does it even suggest that we should “ask Jesus into our hearts,” the fallen angel Isha responds to the unsuspecting seeker’s  “invitation” as a call to the fake Jesus Sananda who Isha serves. So Isha opens the doorway to the heart and  spirits of the antichrist enter the heart doorway and take up residence in one’s “temple.”
So could it not be that the abomination of desolation has already occurred and is still occurring?  The Lord said that if we ask God for bread, HE would not give us a snake or a stone.  Well, I know for a fact that people are asking God to come into their hearts as they surrender their beings to an entity they believe is Christ at the altars of God, when in reality, it’s a fallen angel impersonating the Lord. Could it be that because they are going about it the wrong way, evil spirits have entered their temples?

What could be more abominable or more desolate than THAT?

The Holy  Ghost will not enter a temple where a demon dwells. It must be cast out FIRST.  Only after the demons have left will He enter your spirit and cause you to be born again, becoming  a temple where God Himself dwells.

God could cast it out the spirit of the antichrist Himself.  Yet most often He uses one of His followers to do so. AT RESCUE,  WE can help with this.  Either give us a call at  1-888-818-1117 or email us at getreadyforthelord@gmail.com

Renewing Your Mind In 2012

English: Managing emotions - Identifying feelings
Emotions can hinder casting down every imagination, thought or high thing

“Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Behind every outward manifestation of weakness or dysfunction, there is a root cause. It should also be understood that at times the root cause for your behavior may be grounded in mental and/or emotional conflicts that you are not conscious of. Your mind is a major component of your soul. Your soul is a mixture of your emotions, your mind and your will. Where your mind is concerned, a thought is a means to activate your intellect. The intellect is the seat of reasoning. As your body has a built-in system to eliminate wastes, the intellectual activity of your mind controls your thoughts. Thought life is extremely important because your personality and character is reflected in the way you think.

The more steadfastly you fix your mind on a particular thought, the thought then becomes “an imagination.” The stronger the “imagination,” the closer you come to taking the action that the particular thought suggested. You can determined how close you are to making a mistake by monitoring your thoughts. In most cases, the innermost voice of the spirit will break through to your mind and tell you not to take the particular action you were about to take. However, if you are out of touch with your spirit, you will generally yield to the thoughts of your mind. If your reasoning is defective, your thoughts can manipulate you in a negative manner. For example, consider the person who thinks: “I can shoot heroin just once and I won’t get hooked or I can take just one drink and I will be okay.” Such a thought will bring about an action that will ultimately produce a major repercussion.

Rationalizations and justifications are the products of an unrenewed mind. In such cases, you make excuses for yourself by blaming others. In order to correct the thoughts of your mind, you must take the following actions:

1. open your intellect to examination by being

honest with yourself;

2. stop a thought in mid-stream and analyze it;

3. change the words of your mouth;

4. say “no” to that thought, out loud if necessary.

Anyone who makes decisions either by the influence of the mind or the emotions is usually weak in his or her will. Your will is the organ that examines, distinguishes, judges and makes decisions based upon the information received from your mind and your emotions. Choices can be enduring and long-lived. Unfortunately, you can make the decision but you cannot choose the repercussion.

The way to victory is to establish a value system or a set of principles that will be followed regardless of the emotional situation. Since feelings generated by our emotions are so changeable, we should never take any action during highly emotional times. Moreover, you should not allow any external force to create any feeling in you that is against your will. If you follow the leading of strong, negative feelings, your whole being will learn to thrive on these sensations, your willpower will be paralyzed, and your mind will become undependable.

In order to renew your mind, there are some key points that should be underscored:

1. You are what you THINK you are. Your thoughts have power to draw both positive and negative energy. If you have practiced negative “self talk”, in the same manner, you should consciously practice positive “self talk.” Positive thought will bring forth positive talk. Positive talk will bring forth the fruits of victory and success.

2. A part of renewing the soul is to learn how to deal with what is uncomfortable. Struggles and failures supply the necessary preparation. You must learn to picture in your mind a positive outcome in “all things.”

3. Once you discover what you need to learn about your own inner struggles, there are other people who will need your testimony and your influence so that they too can be victorious. A major purpose of struggling is that you can become consolers of those who are struggling in those areas where you have become triumphant. By planting new seeds of power into your minds, old patterns and habits will be destroyed. In a metaphorical context, the seeds are the “words of power.”

Deliverance counseling and mentoring is designed to renew your mind by the word of God.  Why not start the New Year with a commitment to take control of your thoughts by booking a telephone counseling session with licensed therapists from a biblical perspective. There is no commitment to continue. So call 518-477-5759. You won’t be sorry.

3 Myths about Spiritual Strongholds that will Stop You from Experiencing Unspeakable Joy…By Minister Francine

Spiritual strongholds bring on continual emotional, spiritual and behavioral problems. The demonic strength of these strongholds shrouds victims in darkness. Too many Christians have no idea what a stronghold is. Too many Christians remain uninformed. Meanwhile, the devil and his cohorts are waging a war that most Christians don’t believe is going on. The devil, fallen angels and demonic entities have an edge, because the church has created a boatload of myths that shoot down the truth about spiritual strongholds. Let’s look at three of the myths right now, and debunk them with facts.

Myth #1: Spiritual strongholds don’t and can’t effect Christians because the devil was defeated at the cross.

Fact: How many times have you heard it said that devils stay away from believers and only torment the un-saved. How many times has someone told you not to worry about the devil? You’ve been mislead just as I was mislead in the past. Yes, the devil was defeated at the cross, but the war is still going on.  As, Pam Sheppard relates, the devil has NOT waved the white flag. The Apostle Paul commanded us to put on the full armor of God that we may stand against the devil. Therefore we better pay attention and learn the vile tricks of the evil one. Eve was unable to resist the devil but we can for God has given us the tools. Unfortunately too many Christians refuse to learn spiritual warfare. But then again, how could they learn when it is not being taught. If it is being taught, it is being taught incorrectly. I ask you in all earnestness, please read at least one of Pam Sheppard’s books. Just one read, will convince you that she knows exactly what she is talking about. I don’t believe that there is another pastor or teacher on earth with the information God has given Pam. In fact, I’m sure of it. Listen my friend, the devil is real!

The devil exists, fights the faithful and those destined for salvation. We must realize that spiritual strongholds can and do cause affliction for God’s people. If we lie to ourselves and say strongholds can’t touch us, we risk having a stronghold turn into full-blown demonic affliction, in need of deliverance work. The organized church totally ignores the devil and lacks discernment. Why do you think so many pastors turn the gospel into a business opportunity, and fleece their members of their hard-earned money? Something is wrong! Why do you think pastors get away with molesting four-year olds? The organized church is infested with those whose spiritual strongholds have gotten out of hand and demons have entered to use them as hosts for evil. I’d really like for you to read Pam’s Sheppard’s book entitled ” The Religious Demon “. I have to say that there is no other book like it. The church is busy binding and loosing demons which is unscriptural. The church is busy pleading the blood of Jesus which is unscriptural. I love the way Pam dispels the lies regarding the above. Pam teaches that she does not plead with demons, she casts them out. Now, there you have it. The wisdom in the way Pam dispels the myth that we plead with demons is evident.

Myth#2: When Christians read the Bible and pray everyday, God will protect their minds.

Fact: My friends, Bible reading and prayer will not cast out demons or dispel spiritual strongholds. There is a time when folks just need to get delivered. There is a time when the devil needs to be cast out. I fell for myth #2 for years. I suffered from clinical depression and read the Bible and prayed until I was blue in the face. I finally decided to stop allowing the organized church to derail me. I finally decided to follow the word of God and I cast that demon spirit of depression out.

Myth #3: When we love and forgive everyone as Jesus taught, we will never be afflicted by devils or be trapped by spiritual strongholds.

Fact: Spiritual strongholds can run deep and undetected for years. If we love everyone and have forgiven everyone, yet our we live a life of drama and continual calamity, where is the joy of the Lord? If we love everyone, have forgiven everyone but depression grips us as it did me, what then? Many seemingly loving people are anxious, stressed out and on depression medications. How could such a thing happen? It happens because a spiritual strong hold took root, and was never addressed. In my case, un-forgiveness and bitterness were never addressed. When I repented of both sins, I awoke from my slumber of ignorance and cast that spirit out.

As you can see, I have not gone into detail about what a spiritual stronghold is. I’d like to leave that up to my teacher and mentor Pam Sheppard, who has written six books that expose the devils wiles in great detail. I can tell you this, you have not heard what she shall tell you. I’ll tell you another thing too, according to Pam Sheppard demons have entered the organized church and every one of the ministers she is training, believes and bears witness that Pam’s messages are God-ordained for such a time as this.
