The Charismatic Movement’s Connection to the Occult

I have been saved, born again since Monday— March 29, 1977 at about 4pm. Yet, once I wrote the book “the Fake Jesus” about 5 years ago, I found myself cleaning out my own temple from the deceptive influence of Sananda, Ashtar and perhaps other socalled ascended masters. You see, once the demons lost me to the One True God, they immediately set out to derail His plan for my life. Through dreams and other supernatural experiences, I was deceived on many levels for almost  three decades..For 3 years BEFORE I was saved, I was steeped in the occult. I had healing powers and I was able to see into the future through astrology and other means. Once saves, my occult powers carried over into Christianity without my knowledge primarily because I was ignorant of Satan’s devices.

Any person who has ever seriously practiced the occult has made an invitation to the powers of darkness. Whether in ignorance or by design, when a person has made an appeal to Satan’s services by either a formal pact or an informal agreement, that person has unwittingly submitted himself to the powers of darkness.. When signs, wonders and strange religious practices that did not emanate from the Holy Ghost are accepted as divine, a spiritual invitation is made to the fake Jesus. Without hesitation, the fake Jesus pushes his way through the doors of your soul. . My testimony is too long for one blog. However for the sake of the subject matter at hand, I can testify that I was  one who ignorantly made an informal pact with the fake Jesus by not properly severing ALL of my ties to my pre-conversion practices of occultism and mediumship.

Through presumption, I assumed that once saved, ALL of my occultic practices of the past were behind me, since I had burned all of my astrology and occult books in 1983. My personal testimony is a classic example of how the fake Jesus can fool a true Christian by deception, capitalizing on its target’s ignorance of certain spiritual matters. Hosea’s word continues to ring true.(Hosea 4:6) God’s elect are overwhelmingly deceived and if we are not careful, ultimately destroyed by a lack of knowledge of how “all spiritual manifestations are NOT from God!”Another reason why I share various aspects of my own personal testimony is to give you hope and confidence that the principalities and the powers of heaven shall not win. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony and I am an overcomer.

Here is just one of several examples. I received tongues at a meeting held in Albany New York through the ministry of the late Kenneth Hagin. Hagin is really the founder of the word of faith movement as it is operating today. I have no idea whether or not Hagin was a false prophet or a deceived one. I simply look around as I view Charismania, and I know Hagin by his fruits. Anyway, I never truly embraced the way that I received tongues because it had no resemblance to the way the early church received this gift as revealed in the book of Acts. Yet, I grew to speak prolifically, at my own will, what charismatics call in “a prayer language.”

The reason why I have not been convinced about tongues is that for 25 years, I was not  able to find a bona-fide interpreter, nor was I able to interpret myself. So I ask, “Where are the interpreters?” The Holy Ghost does not expect me to throw away my commonsense. If I have prayed off and on for decades to receive the gift of interpretation of tongues as Paul suggests that we all do, 25 years  passed and I still found  no one, including myself to interpret my “prayer language”, good sense  suggested to me that the tongue that I received in 1983 is not from God. So if it is not from God, then who did it come from?

The Fake Jesus: Fallen Angels Among Us  connects the dots between the church system, the charismatic movement,  the new age movement and the ascended masters, aka the fallen angels.

Well, its obvious. It didn’t come from me. I suspect that it came from one of the Ascended Masters, perhaps Sananda or Ashtar. What would be the reason for the demons to desire to imitate tongues? Well, if we don’t know what we are saying when we speak in an “unknown” tongue, we could very possibly be used by demonic beings to “decree and declare” that their will, purposes and agenda be done on earth, rather than that of the will of the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the One, True and Only Creator–the one that Lucifer rebelled against in the first place.

In conclusion, I have been involved in almost all of what is passing itself off today as emanating from the Holy Ghost. Early on, I was groaning and weeping in very strange ways beginning in 1979.. Kenneth Copeland provided me with the explanation that I was looking for, confirming to me that my strange experience was a manifestation of intercessory prayer. Kenneth taught that the strange weeping and groaning that I did was a sacrificial work for the lost and the bound, emanating in travail from the Holy Ghost. TD Jakes and his “wailing women” seminars concur with Copeland. So Copeland, Jakes and others had  me convinced that God was using my travail to break yokes and bondages, ie. setting captives free. Since I believed that the Holy Ghost was using me to intercede, it is only natural that I held on to this strange work.

My mind was certainly unfruitful when I travailed and so often I tried to guess the reason behind it. I convinced myself that much of my groaning and weeping was for sinning preachers to repent. If so, it did not work. They just kept on sinning. I also laughed wildly in the spirit before I even heard of Hagin and Brown’s practice of what is called “holy laughter.”. My laughter was different, as I believed that the Holy Ghost was using me to laugh at the devil. When I laughed, I cried also. I found several scriptures to support my style of holy laughter and so I never tried this phenomena to see if it be of God. I just assumed that it was. The only supernatural experiences that I have not personally experienced is holy dance and shouting, African American style. Perhaps that is because I have no cultural background in the South and I was not raised in an African-American Church or any church. In other words, holy dancing was not a part of my ancestral upbringing.

Furthermore, even though demons could no longer “step into me and speak,” some of my mediumistic traits DID survive my conversion. Nevertheless, when a counterfeit was exposed by the Holy Ghost in recent years, I have been duty bound to remove it by repenting and disavowing it. For example, I could heal BEFORE I was converted. I sucked pain out of people with my hands, particularly my left hand, BEFORE I was converted—proof that my healing gift was mediumistic and not charismatic, NOT OF THE HOLY GHOST.

Once I realized that my healing gift was tainted, I have made every effort not to touch anyone unless I am sure that I am being led by God to do so. I know today that more was required. I have come to the conclusion that my healing gift was not from God and therefore I  vehemently repented, rebuked, resisted and renounced it. Perhaps the Lord will give me the true gift of healing from the Holy Ghost. Perhaps not. I just kept  on cleaning house as I press toward the mark of my high calling and truth flooded down upon me like rivers of living waters.. I resisted the devil and he fled from me.

Here is another example of my occult powers influencing my Christian service. Since  I could see into the future through astrology and through dreams BEFORE I was converted,  I had never learned the absolute necessity of trying the spirits to see if they be of God. As I look back over my Christian journey, some of my most significant dreams of future events that actually transpired were sent by the Fake Jesus. I see now with a clarity that I have never had before. The fake Jesus uses counterfeits of the Holy Ghost as “a hook.” Whenever I receive information  of a futuristic nature in a dream about people I know, I rebuked the spirit of divination. Now I rarely hear from this demon.

In the last seven years, when the Lord wants me to know the future, I just “KNOW IT.” Very quietly. Don’t have to see a thing. I walk in faith these days and I don’t have a need of knowing the future as I once did. I soberly remember the Lord’s warning: A PERVERSE NATION SEEKS AFTER A SIGN! So, yes, I can admit without reservation that I myself have been deceived by the fake Jesus, and it has taken all of 30 years to get clean. There is evidence that I am completely clean but seriously speaking, I can’t yet say that I am absolutely certain. I wait on the Lord for Him to expose what may yet need to be uncovered.

How do I feel as a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Only and True Begotten Son of God who has been deceived by the Fake Jesus for decades? Do I feel like a failure,–fooled frustrated, faithless ? Bamboozled, run a muck? To that, I must say, emphatically NOOOOOOOO! I am joyous, relieved that real truth has truly revived  me and I am free at last!!!! .And I declare, ” BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!

You see, in my relentless search for truth, the Holy Ghost has granted me the wisdom to deny all mediumship powers once He has exposed them to me. However, He would not expose them to me until I was willing to humble myself, In this regard, humbling myself involved questioning every significant supernatural experience that I have had since I have been saved, including my conversion experience, which itself was “supernatural.” As such, the quality and consistency of the wisdom that I have received in the last 7 years as compared to the previous  27 years, is truly beyond comparison. And the wisdom of God just keeps on coming.

Witchcraft Spells Among Professing Christians

Witchcraft Spells and you is the focus of this article. What do witchcraft spells have to do with a believer? Witchcraft spells and witchcraft magic uses spoken words, chants, declarations, incantations and other demonic devices as a means of control. Witchcraft is used by those who seek to control you. Are there witches in the church? Are their unsaved people in the church? The answer to both of these questions is yes. That’s right! Your own pastor could be a witch.

Witchcraft spells and all its evil renderings is about power, control and domination. Witches seek to control you by any evil means necessary. Witchcraft is all about manipulation and control. Witchcraft denies the power of Jehovah God, and those who practice it are in league with demons. Witch- craft comes from the kingdom of darkness. There is no such thing as a good witch, just as there is no such thing as a good, harmless devil.

Witchcraft Spellcasting and its Evil Devices have been Recorded in the Word of God…

A Christian must believe in witches, because God warns us about them in His word. In the Book of Micah, chapter three, God passes grave judgment on witches. What does God say? Jehovah God will cut off witchcrafts totally. Witches and soothsayers will perish.

As you can see, witches and their demonic spell castings, were under the wrath of God. Your church is not exempt from having members that practice witchcraft. How could your church be exempt from witchcraft controls, when Jesus said let wheat and  tares grow together? King Saul consulted the witch of Endor, requesting that she call up the spirit of Samuel. This incident is recorded in 1 Samuel 28:7.

Be Advised… Beware…And Be Vigilant…

You know, fact beyond doubt, that witchcraft spells can hold you in bondage if you are not truly saved. If your salvation is not built on the rock, a witch can afflict and run a train wreck through your life. Be advised and beware, witches are a reality in church or out. Witches will use any evil means necessary to afflict,control, and harass you into letting go of your faith.

The devil stalks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. If there were no such thing as witches in church, why would apostle Paul tell us to be sober and vigilant against the wiles of the devil? The devil stalks about looking for converts. In fact, Satan and his demons make themselves at home in the church. Evil spirits thrive in an atmosphere of sin. One look at the Catholic church, and it’s abominable molesting priests proves my point. One look at the ever-growing list of churches evading the IRS proves my point yet again.

Spiiritual Covering Is a Lie From the Devil!

Spiritual covering! Have you heard about it? Do you need it ?  What is spiritual covering? Are you one of those who were sent…or are you one of those who just went, minus a spiritual covering? Whose your spiritual daddy? Whose your spiritual Mama? What about an apostolic covering, do you have one of those? Please don’t answer, because there’s no such thing as a spiritual covering.

Spiritual Covering Fallacy

Charismatic churches, and churches in general, seemed to have latched on to yet another fallacy, yet another  unscriptural doctrine of demons. The laying on of hands is not something to be toyed with. Didn’t the apostle Paul say we are to touch no man suddenly? So why is the organized church, scampering about, in a hurry to lay hands on those they say they are about to launch into ministry? Why would a spiritual Papa or a spiritual Mama need to lauch you out to tell people about Jesus? Jesus said to spread the Gospel to the nations. Jesus never said we were to wait on a spiritual father or mother for permission.

Since when do we need a permission slip to share our testimony, or share the Gospel? The notion that ones needs a spiritual covering, sounds like demonic controls to me. Sounds like manipulations akin to witchcraft to me. What about you? So then the Gospel that calls us by our faith, to share the message of Christ has been twisted yet again.

All of a sudden, you have to wait for approval, for something Christ already said we should do. You better not go, unless you were sent. Sent by who? Sent by someone who wishes you to submit to them, rather than submit to God. The spiritual cove

ring doctrine is responsible for a myriad of criminal behaviors in church. Wasn’t it a spiritual Daddy who was accused of some heineous acts? Do you know the story? Even if you don’t, our father is God.

We don’t want to go the other extreme into lone rangerhood either. We don’t want to be off in a corner by ourselves, refusing authority and teachings which are God sent. Spiritual coverings are unscriptural, but so is being a lone ranger  who refuses correction. Were their any lone disciples in the New Testament? Did God ever say that a time would come when disciples would stand alone to be taught, solely by him?
Some people, are sure that the organized church is the ” Her” spoken of in Revelations 18:4. Some people agree with the Sheppard’s Publishing stance. Sheppard’s Publishing views the organized church as the harlot we must all exodus from. Unfortunately, those who agree, agree only to a point. They  fall into error, by believing that God will now speak directly to them. The lone ranger pastor has lost his way, and is headed for deep deception.
I am in an independent ministry yet t I am guided,supported  and taught by Pam Sheppard ministries.  I submit to this ministry in love because a relationship of trust has been established.  No one tries to “rule” over me, nor am I required to give tithes and offerings to be a disciple. I have the power to question PSM in doctrine and in practice. Yes,  I am free to come and go as the Lord leads ME without anyone’s “permission”, knowing that Pam Sheppard Ministries has  my back. The Fallacy of Apostolic Teaching

The Apostolic doctrine teaches that Christ can’t return to earth until Christians form a militant army which will be led by “ Super Apostles”. These super apostles and prophets are supposedly going to physically subdue the earth and set up God’s kingdom within the earth’s government. Bishop Bill Hamon and Peter Wagner have concocted these hair- brained apostolic doctrinal errors and teachings of devils. Those who push this apostolic doctrine believe that God’s end-time army will arise, subdue the earth, bring on natural disasters with their super powers, and correct church government. They claim to have authority over pastors and churches and want to be recognized as such.

Everything they teach is unscriptural and pompous. Their pride has them believing that Christ needs them to assist Him in returning to earth. Their pride has them believing that God needs help. As far as I can see, what they are really teaching undermines and diminishes the power of God. In fact, they believe God is powerless without their input. If God is powerless without the input of these super apostles, then the super apostles must be God. What do you say?

If you are part of this apostolic doctrine, you’ve been duped and hoodwinked into placing yourself  ABOVE GOD. The apostolic doctrine is yet another doctrine of the damned. Get out while you can!

I write this article with sorrow. Yesterday, I asked Pam Sheppard about the apostolic doctrine and what it entailed. I see a lot of Facebook folk tooting the apostolic horn and placing the word ” apostle ” in front of their name. Pam gave me two names to research which were Bishop Bill Hamon and Peter Wagner. My friends, I was almost sorry I asked. As far as Pam Sheppard’s Ministries is concerned, God is finished with the organized church, and all Pam’s ministers have ” come out from among them”. Why was I sorry I asked Pam about the apostolic doctrine? I was sorry I asked because as I began to research this damnable apostolic doctrine, I felt like I had entered the devils” doctrinal error twilight zone ” of top-level heresy.

I wouldn’t even advise you to enter that zone and do your own research on the apostolic doctrine. Take it from me, the book you should read is The New Idolatry by Pamela Sheppard. I used to be like you. You may feel fed up with church and you don’t want to give anybody a chance to fool you again. Well, dear reader, the devil is crafty. Take that chance and read the book! I could stop here and give you a 100 point list of why I believe Pam Sheppard IS THE LORD’S END -TIME SHEPHERD But I won’t. You need to check the spirit for yourself. THE OBJECTIVES OF SPIRITUAL COACHING

We have found that most Christians who need deliverance coaching have been  blinded by spiritual ignorance.  Our goal is to help you obtain clear spiritual vision as we coach and train you to distinguish between good and evil. 

The goal of basic Christian COACHING  is to help you to be engaged, encouraged and enlightened  in your mind. As such, our objective at is to strengthen your spirit so that you will be able to recognize God’s will and choose it above your own.

However, the goal of deliverance coaching   is to arm you to recognize and effectively deal with  the activity of the enemy in your life.  Deliverance coaching  is broken down into 4 components:

A SEARCH FOR COSMIC EVIL DOORWAYS: These are areas  in a person’s life which are giving or have given cosmic entities the right to enter or remain in the person. Asking Jesus to “come into your heart, a counterfeit birth, a background in the occult, unconfessed sins, ungodly soul ties, unforgiveness, holding cursed possessions (occult rings, etc.) and so forth can give demons a right to inhabit and torment a person. These legal grounds can be  removed by facing the truth,  repentance, renunciation, extending forgiveness, etc.

THE EXAMINATION OF STRONGHOLDS: These are basically incorrect thinking patterns in your mind. For example, if  you think God is angry with you because you have committed the unpardonable sin, then you will feel like He is. This stronghold may open you to panic attacks, paranoia  or obsessive compulsive behavior. Strongholds are torn down in each  session  as we  work together to reprogram your mind to think differently. You might say that our approach to a stronghold is to enhance critical thinking capabilities and simple commonsense. Together you and the coach work to  destroy the strength of the debilitating thought.

RESTORATION OF YOUR SOUL: Renewal is often required when counseling a person who has been abused, raped or has been exposed to a traumatic experience. Becoming whole  is a work of the Holy Spirit and is received as the person is   delivered from  the inner hurt and pain from past experiences. Then   the Holy Spirit  comes in and heal those wounds. Forgiveness often plays a part in this releasing process. Oftentimes, self-forgiveness needs to be received as the captive may be   holding things against him or herself which must be released. Once truth is known and accepted, frrdom is obtained.

EXPULSION OF THE ENEMY Confronting  cosmic entities directly  is where either devils or demons are  driven out of the client by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and the power of the Holy Ghost. After success in the first three stages,  expulsion is often un-necessary. However, in various cases, direct confrontation of the powers of darkness cannot be avoided.  At this stage, you  MUST sign and notarize an informed consent form called the DDF, the Deliverance Disclaimer Form. There are no exceptions.

Is the Holy Spirit in the Organized Church System?

The salvation of souls is the job of the Holy Spirit. So it stands to reason if souls are not being saved in chuch, then He must not be there. As a pastor within a well-known denomination for 25 questions, it never crossed my mind whether or not the Holy Spirit was actually there. The question was raised in my mind through my profession as a licensed counselor.

What I am consistently  finding in my counseling practice with Christians, is that churchgoers who are reporting that they are being tormented by demons DID NOT REALLY  GET SAVED WHEN THEY THOUGHT THAT THEY DID!!!!! Besides not understanding repentance in a fullness, I believe that what some professing Christians miss is that a resurrected body is the same body that died,—- the original body that has been made new or “renovated.” A glorified body is never subject to death again.Lazarus was raised from the dead in his “same” body but his body was not glorified because he would die again. Lazarus was not raised immortal.

I was her pastor from 1999 to 2002.   I was not her deliverance counselor as I had not yet conceived the term “deliverance counseling.”  In fact, Ola’s case is what caused me to conceive the term in the first place. For a year, I did not realize that Ola did not understand this concept. When people say “Jesus was raised from the dead,” those who don’t understand are just repeating a memorized phrase that they have accepted. But when you go deeper, those who have been made confused by word of faith teaching will say “Oh, Jesus had a glorified body which means he had a new body.” I ask them “Well what happened to the old body?” Some will say “it was buried, it decomposed, it floated away with his spirit, “I don’t know”or just “it disappeared in some supernatural way, like the work of a magician who pulls a rabbit out of a hat!”

The root of the problem is that they have misunderstood the scripture in Corinthians which says “it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body, and there is a spiritual body.” I cor 15:44. What they don’t understand is that a natural body is physical and a spiritual body is material as well. A natural body is subject to death. A spiritual body is not. A natural body when dead will decompose or be “corruptible.” A spiritual body is raised “incorruptible.” It will never decay. That is the difference between the two. So when I ask the key question, “was Jesus raised as a physical body or was He raised as a spirit, the response will be “He was raised as a spirit.” In spite of the fact that Jesus showed his original yet glorified body to Thomas and said to him “a spirit does not have flesh and bone as I have”, they STILL miss it. A crucial error that will determine where they abide in eternity. I didn’t write this.. Paul did. It is in I Cor 15:17: And if Christ is not risen, your faith is vain (futile) AND YOU ARE STILL IN YOUR SINS. To still be in your sins is to “not be saved or born again.” So if you don’t understand what resurrection means, then how can you believe that “Jesus was risen?” So the logical conclusion is that anyone who does not understand resurrection but came to the Jesus of their understanding IS NOT SAVED!

As both a servant of God and a professional Christian counselor, I really thought that when people said “He is risen,” that they understood what that meant. More than thirty years ago when I myself was unsaved, I understood resurrection because I had no concept at all of what a spirit was. I was all flesh: a two-part being of mind and body. So since I didn’t have an understanding of what the word “spirit” meant, I was never confused into thinking that “to be raised” meant to float away as a spirit. All I knew about resurrection was what I had seen in the movies or heard at Easter. I laughed at this. I said “Christians must think that people are stupid. It is very clear to me that when you are dead you are DEAD and there is no coming back to life.”

On the day that I got born again in my living room, faith to believe that Jesus came back to life in the same body that He died in at the cross literally burst through my mind and I was in a state of shock. After I repented for being a sinner, the resurrection flashed into my mind immediately. Once I went to church and became a minister, I didn’t think that what happened to me was supposed to happen to everyone that got saved, even after I read “confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT HE WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD! The Greek word for “heart” is “cardia.” Cardia means “the mind, the emotions, the thoughts and the feelings.” The spiritual heart is a part of the human soul. Once I explain the resurrection to MOST of my clients who have been confused, they become saved prior to dealing with the issues of being set free from demons. . For some, it is immediate, for others, it takes a while. In some cases, the religious spirit is so entrenched in the person, that it must be cast out first so that the person can believe in the resurrection. This was the case of Ola. Practically EVERYTHING that she did that was under the power of a religious demon–a familiar spirit, a spirit of divination: preach, praise the Lord, prophecy, speak in tongues, discern spirits and see into the spirit world, was entirely counterfeited by the religious demon that resides in her. Sometimes Ola  herself was like she was “not there.” This is why she had no recall what transpired during deliverance sessions. Since they were taped, she could not deny it once she listened to them.

When you trace their alleged conversion to Christ back to the original source by skillful asking questions during the plowing stage of counseling, the source of the problem is almost always uncovered. For example, when some of my clients came to Christ, they came for the wrong reasons under strange/demonic circumstances. Religious demons “specialize.” There are some who want to do religious things, just like the Pharisees and the Sadducees of Jesus day. Remember the words of the Lord to them?” He said “You will tithe even something as small as a mint. Yet you are like whitewashed tombs, clean on the outside but filled with dead men’s bones. Your are of your Father, the devil. Vipers. A viper is a snake, the snake representing counterfeit religion. Someone posed the following question to me in an email : if a person is operating off of only what they know and have been taught, won’t the Lord make an exception? Wouldn’t that be another “specific” example? In other words, if someone sincerely repents, loves the Lord, and accepts Him as their savior, and they die before they have been TAUGHT and DISCIPLED, wouldn’t the Lord take that into consideration? After all, HE KNOWS THE HEARTS OF MEN, and we don’t, RIGHT?”

This is the exact situation that each and every one of my clients have found themselves in. The Lord has made an exception in each of their cases. He has seen to it that they DO NOT DIE before they have been counseled. Teaching and discipling is a part of the counseling process. The Lord has taken each client’s plight into consideration, by first opening my eyes and instructing me on how to recognize the deception, and how to counsel, teach and disciple him or her. Some have fallen under the category of II Cor 4:3,4: For if our gospel be hid or veiled, it is hidden to those who are lost, whose minds the god of this world has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,  which is the image of God, should shine on them. So I will have to cast out the religious demon first, BEFORE the client can be saved.

If I look at this problem from carnal eyes, then I could get discouraged. I can only handle 30 clients at a time and it takes from 3 months to a year per client. I just don’t question God about what He is doing for these kinds of captives. I simply DO MY PART which seems so small that it appears non-existent when you consider how many professing Christians may have already been deceived. God  does His  part. For example, every one of my clients have had a dream that led them to me or they were surfing the web and found me. I don’t know how many others the Lord is using in like manner to these kinds of captives free. People seeking Christ through the ministry of those who are preaching “another gospel” and presenting “another Jesus” in churches of all kinds and with folk who stay home and watch TBN are becoming mentally, spiritually  and even physically bound. People are picking up religious demons at Pentecostal altars, where they have been “tarrying” or “chanting” to receive the Holy Ghost and to speak with other tongues. Some clients ended up with absolutely no control over their bodies. Those I couldn’t help refused to even consider that they were not saved. Once the Pentecostals got a grip on them and they”manifested” the speaking in a tongues, they became super spiritual. inch by inch, the demons took over. In a strange case of a client I call ” Carol.”  Carol  is unique because she is obedient, compliant, coherent and willing to do anything to be delivered, which was not the case with others. I see no real fault in her as I have seen in some of the others. She was simply watching TV, responded to a sinner’s prayer through a Mormon sponsored program, then began to feed off of the teachings of mega TV preachers and was guided to a mega church by a vision that was demonically inspired.  As it stands, I work with those that I can, and I plant a seed into those that I cannot help, and pray that the Lord will direct them to true Christian who will nurture and water that seed.

For those who refuse to hear, I let them fire me and I shake the dust from my feet and move on to the next captive.

The Top Five New Years Resolutions For 2012: Break Demonic Soul Ties

Does a family member manipulate you? Are you easily controlled and dominated? Are you free to be all that the Lord intends for you to be? Much demonic bondage is formed in childhood. For example, if a parent is manipulative, dominating and controlling, a spirit of witchcraft can enter, perhaps as a root of rejection. (Ex 2o:5)

A soul tie is the knitting together of two or more souls that can either bring tremendous blessing in a godly relationship or pervasive destruction. In a destructive soul tie, the will of the captive or victim is un-naturally affected by the stronger will of another,–the abuser or perpetrator— where the captive’s thoughts, emotions, and actions are no longer his or her own. Since we all form soulties with parents, family and other authority figures, no one is exempt from what I call “soul stealing.”  Here are some signs of soul stealing through an unholy soul tie:

  • Irrational thinking.  You act and do things that don’t make sense.  In such cases, you consistently evaluate your present circumstances according to a previous context–connected to some abuse you endured in the past.
  • You consistently lack joy and peace.
  • You are attracted to people who hurt you.
  • Your relationships are rarely mutually beneficial and you are always left with the short end of the stick.
  • You are often the one in bondage in a relationship.  You are the giver and your partner is always the taker.
  • You allow family members and friends to cause you to violate your own conscience and principles
  • You are easily maneuvered or manipulated by the negative emotions of others, ie their anger, temper, guilt trips and outbursts.

You can’t always run from folk, especially parents, spouses and family members. I have found that the solution is twofold: you must first learn how to govern your own emotions and reactions,  by building up your free will and self authority and then you need for someone like me to cast out that persons spirit from you as if it were a demon. As quiet as it is kept, it is actually  an unseen demon that has helped the aggressor to snatch your soul and en-trap you into a demonic soul tie that the world calls “a co-dependent relationship.”. The demonic or ungodly soul tie is like an invisible rope between you and the perpetrator.  I write about it in more detail in “Faces of the Religious Demon.”  Here is a brief excerpt.

“Counseling should place emphasis on no regrets or brooding over things done and undone. To avoid irrational thinking, the captive must re-learn through counseling, how to discern for himself if he is simply ‘thinking,’ or is he being drawn into a state of regretting or brooding,  Victory in deliverance necessitates victory over the past, in spite of all its failures. the failures should be dealt with on the basis of I John 1:9. Furthermore, the captive need to learn how to discern his or her own thoughts from those implanted into his mind by demons who use the perpetrator “as a voice.”
